Two plants in one container question

So... After three seasons outdoor grow with amazing results I attempted my first indoor using CFL.

Using 200 watts (not equivalent but true) and bag seed I vegged four plants for 30 days under 24/0 6500K. Changed to 2700K and raised wattage to 300+ to determine sex. Seven days into 12/12 and nothing. Added another 92 watts and the next day sexing three out the four were clearly visible. The other I'll give another day or so just to be positive because it's such a beautiful looking plant, but my best guess is that it's a dude. Must be a different strain because every characteristic of this plant is much different than the others. On a positive note, ridding my space of the others increases the wattage to the remaining so its not all that bad.

Here's my question concerning the positive female. Unfortunately she shared the same 5 gal bucket as one of the dude's (stupid me). I already chopped the male just below the base since the roots were tangled.

How do you think this will impact her? Thanks and this forum ROCKS!

No man you should be fine!!

I consider myself a professional double planter!! That's what I do all the time now I prefer to use REG seeds, I usually plant 2 seeds per 7 gallons or 3-4 per 10 gallons, I try to plant them away from each other though but I have never had an issue, I always pull the males, pack the hole firmly and water. I have never had an issue but next time plant them away from each other a little. I should mention I do 12/12 from seeds so by the time I pull the male there isnt a lot of roots.

if you leave the stalk there and simply cut the male I am always worry the roots and stem will die/rot during flowering, I prefer to remove them completely.

Interesting question. Is it possible for the female plant to merge with the male root system and take it over as her own? If so, what hormonal problems could this cause?

Update...

Unfortunetly my beauty turned into a bro (as I figured) or a herm at the very least so chopping was called for.

The bad - went from four to one.

The good - My princess will now receive the full 300 watts of 2700K CFL.

I know the yield won't be anything to write home about giving only 30 days veg, but I hope it's enough to justify. Next batch, feminized seeds no doubt. Just aprehensive about the whole ordering/shipping thing.

I enjoy weed and it's a very important part of my daily routine. Some come home after work and have a glass of vodka, while I enjoy smoking a joint. It's BS that we have to go through this just to enjoy nature's medicine. Been smoking 20+ with zero intentions of stopping.

Thanks all!

I ordered serious seeds ak47 through attitude seed bank. I payed with a credit card. Picked super stealth shipping and bought a tshirt gift. It came all wrapped up in a tshirt and I received legit ak47. I even spoke directly to serious seeds marketing supervisor and we shared our ak pics and methods. A comparison showed the same plant. Oh also i live in nj and thought it was super sketchy at first. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. :)

Dude Ive had seeds sent directly to my grow house for the last 13 years.. I order from seedboutique.com every single time and I always order white widow lol. I have sent them money orders, credit cards and straight up cash and never ever had a problem with customs or anything..and I grow well over 100 clones/plants most of the time.
