It is anchored to logic and consistency, wherein something false is unbounded and can be inconsistent, illogical and nonsensical, which might be why you lean in that direction.

flying cars will be electric & self driving, with avoidance software & will be 100 times safer than driving on the road..can anyone say Tesla?8)

Have you considered that if flying cars (which are technologically possible now) became too prevalent, that government wouldn't want people to have them simply because it is a form of freedom that control freaks would melt down over?
Have you considered commerce uses this as a distraction to lead tainted water?

IMO we should learn to keep trains from bumping into each other first.

Sometimes it happens the way you described.

Commerce by itself as a voluntary exchange between two willing parties is neutral. When it spills over and causes negative effects beyond the willing participants is when things like lead tainted water occur.

In my opinion we should all smoke some Trainwreck.
