it would be cool if the mods could take responsibility for the threads they close or delete

PMs to the OP of closed/deleted threads.. or a message upon locking is usually a courtesy..

Ya but it was deleted. Not closed. No guns on riu.

you dont just delete threads that break "rules" that are not laid out anywhere, you would man up, make a post describing the problem/policy and then close the thread to future debate.....

or at least a mod like myself would ;) ..... (fdd too, you know he's not scared of conflict, so I dont wanna see any fdd bashing going on today)

I feel like there's always one mod, that deletes stuff without telling anybody... on every forum...always

The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club.... The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club....

your only aloud to talk about METH plants here. the right to bare arms seems to not matter...

I agree with ya. People create threads all the time asking how much they should sell their pills for etc and they seem to never be deleted. even though nothing I say will bring it back it is kind of malarky that we cannot discuss what made America what it is today.

i don't know how it is in most medical states, but here in canada, a medi-ticket and firearms certificate (<- which you need in order to legally own longarms) aren't mutually exclusive, although it IS illegal to use said guns to protect said medigrows... (and pistols are restricted/prohibited here unless you're leo or army)

IOwning a gun and growing medical or not is pretty much illegal in all med states.

That is not the case in Alaska. We are allowed 25 plants, silenced weapons, allowed to carry 1 oz., and are not require to hold a license to carry concealed.

This is Alaska. The hippies are better armed than most militia folks from down south. :)

We have room in the state :)

whoa, why not just rub it in a bit *more, alaska? lol
it's not nice to gloat.... ;)

Sorry, gloating was not my intention. I'm stoked about the place and enjoy discussing the advantages of living here. :O

do they still pay you money to live in Alaska?

Yes, there is no state tax. The state has several billion dollars in excess. The money is call the Permanent Fund Dividend. Excess oil revenues are placed under a money management group's control. The formula is fairly complicated. It worked out to around $1300 for every Alaska resident last year. You have to pay federal taxes on the money.

The tradeoff is that landowners do not retain mineral rights like in other states. All in all, it's a fair trade-off.

There aren't many good concerts up here.

We spend a couple months a year in Hawaii when the weather gets difficult. That helps.
