The UK government and its predecessors have allowed the country to let everyone into our country take jobs and housing. What ever happened to being proud to be British. Its going to be a long struggle. Feel sorry for my kids. What Will this once great country be like in ten years or more
An independent Indian state..?

Imagine a world where everyone voted, politicians might actually create policies that people would like then. But when at best only 50% of the population votes (and I guarantee that 50% is made largely out of middle, upper middle class people) why on earth would policies have anything to do with people in general. Policies are made to keep political parties and their politicans in work and in power, simple. Until everyonie gets up and stands up, we may as well all sit back and moan....

Seems like the biggest complaint I hear is basically one of " why isn't anyone giving me everything I need to have a comfortable life". As an adult, the only entitiy that's responsible for your well being is you. To get back on your feet, you first have to get up off your ass. If sitting on your ass getting drunk and stoned everyday and bitching about the state of affairs in the world as you see them isn't working out for you, try something different. How about going into work and try being the absolute best employee (regardless of what you currently earn) that this company has ever seen. Think that might lead to raises and maybe promotions with benifits? This could create a stepping stone to something more lucrative. No one is going to GIVE you a quality life, that is something you are going to have to earn. Hard work and efforts is gets results much faster than complaining. You're wasting your time advertising your problems to everyone because no one is buying them.

As someone who is in the staffing industry that is quite a naive point of view there spleefed. I am sure you have a great and positive attitude and I commend you for that, but not everyone has the ability to get a job, even well educated people, and don't even get me started on racism, ageism, and educationism (if there is such a thing) because I know for a fact that my clients want to see Highly educated (the better the school the better the chances), CURRENTLY EMPLOYED, and of perfect employable age, and race (Yes, Race and class is a factor in employment, people are racist and classist, it does exist, believe me!)

And before you come back with some smart arsed comment, I am my own boss, I own my own Companies, and I can post when I want. I consider myself as one of the lucky ones as I have an income at the moment.

Some young dolt? Sorry cheif. Mid 40's here. I've gotten to where I'm at by doing the very things I mentioned. I don't depend on the government to provide me my lifestyle. I work hard and pay my own way. As an employer, I've seen young people come to work for me and the ones that work hard and take pride in their jobs have created pretty good lives for themselves too.

And I'm not simply saying "get a job". I see lot of people with jobs that are nothing more than a warm body that shows up and does the least amount of work possible, not willing to take on extra responsibility or be held accountable for their own job performance. And these same people bitch about no advancement opprotunitities and never do get raises.

I don't need more government nor do I really care if there is less government. I'm funding my own retirement, I saved enough coins to fund my obligations if I should find myself out of work for upto 1 year. I pay my own medical insurance and and any co-pays. The point is.. I go to work everyday, I work hard at what I do and I always have an eye to the future in ways that I can better my lot in life.

Seems like there are just too many that are giving up now that life has gotten a little more difficult. The biggest problem is being poor and on welfare has become an acceptable lifestyle with no real social stigma attached any longer. I saw a bumper sticker a while back that said " Work Harder! Millions of People on Welfare are Depending on You!".

Polacks do lack in personality and fail at showing any kind of emotion @ all , this is annoying , and im no sure the asian community should walk around covered up like a ninja from an 18+ rated ps2 game , they make me nervous ....

they make u nervous. Come to Glasgow on a Fri night when a NED is charging u with a bottle of Buckfast. lol
Being charged by some pissed up jock is the kind of rumble i thrive in , terrorists walking around strapped to their waist with bombs and using clothing from their religion to disguise it makes me more nervous if im honest, gorilla warfare is much more scary than some pissed up fukka who wont see my 5 bombs a second flying in from left to right haha :)

I never met a Polish person I didn't like. My Grandfather is Russian- I'm a regular at the Eastern European deli. They may be sending the cash home but their standards and work ethic are better than British tradesmen.

I didnt say i did not like them , i just find them narrow minded and emotionless , maybe its just a culture thing , in Portugal we tend to be a bit more welcoming in our manor , they also seem to munch on those pickle gherkin things alot that make me want to barf lol, i know a few Russians and do not find them the same, i would disagree on their standards being higher though , from what i can gather they live and work very scruffy , maybe the pols i have met were not a shining example of their outstanding community!!

Sorry, I wasn't trying to make ou look mean. Maybe not the best examples. They are a bit quiet but bright and friendly once they get to know you. Russians however, I cannot say the same for. His nephew Volva is the sweetest, most eloquently spoken and diligent young man. My Grandfather however is every negative stereotype at times. Brash, loud, foulmouthed, stubborn and a raging alcoholic.

Yeah i hear you , the crowd i was mainly talking about were staying in a irish bar and were on a construction team , tbh i just thought they were crazy , maybe the wrong crowd to judge , i really find it hard to judge if they are happy or sad or indeed what mood they are in @ all , maybe the language barrier makes it harder also....
