They dont have teeth, shitty for defense, they make no noise and hide in there shells at the first sign of danger, its like having me as a gaurd without the added beer bill

Can they at Least learn to come or go where I point them?
My retarded miniature pinsvher can even do that

Or is it just a cute factor?
Can I put a leash on one and take it for a walk?

I needs to know. A turtle pet may be for me . ask your Dr about turtle pets today

You cqn walk them on leashes if its where they want to go, the ones i raise grow to 100+ lbs, ill be long dead by then, but if i have grandkids they can ride them. They are like little bull dozers, they can easily push 3 times their weight around, i started raising them cause they are cheap to feed and and i get attached to pets and hate to bury them

Arizona desert torts .....gotta have em licensed and all that shit ....otherwise they just chill in my big ass back yard .....we dug a hole/tunnel with a covering so they can get shelter at night and that's it ....they feed on different shit the wife has in the yard ...but mostly grass ...winter I bring them in to den in a closet next to my laundry room and they sleep until there internal clock tells them it's time to wake up .....that's when they start banging around in the closet to be let out ...
