Tell me what you think.
This is only for seedlings and veg.
No lights are on just yet, check out how bright the flash is on my 3M reflective material!

I'd think just a couple of 2g11 or pl-l bulbs would work well. Can even set them up vertical if you plan to veg that tall. t5 or t8 florescents and what length?

I love the wood and hinges

I never heard of 2g11 or pl-l bulbs, I'll have to search for them.
I have F15T8 Cool White, there short but should work for the space...
Not sure how to mount them (vertical/horizontal) or where to mount them.
I have a bunch of them but don't want to overdue it, they heat up pretty good!
Setup is in garage and it's starting to get cold, so I'm hoping the heat will help for the winter months, but not sure what I'm gonna do in the summer!

Looks good, nice and clean XD
The more light the better, as for heat is there any way of getting a pretty chunky exhaust on that?
The extra heat does really help in the winter too :)

I'd insulate that wiring with some electrical tape, if your spraying the plants at any point that could work out badly! :D

Good Luck!

I thought about it, but it will be O.K.
I'm a electrician and use to work at a waste water plant and everything got wet!!!!!!!!

The exhaust I have is the fan in the upper right corner, the fan at the lower left is for intake. I'll be adding a addition fan for circulation.
No more room for another exhaust unfortunately!

Any ideas?

You might be able to get away with a cheap bathroom extractor to replace the current exhaust then, they pull a lot more air than the PC Fans might need to make the hole a touch bigger but its not too much work... on my first box I used 1 for intake and 1 for outlet and it kept my cab within acceptable (maybe on occasion a tad over) temps using a 400w Dual spec HPS. Don't see why using only 1 on the exhaust wouldn't work for Fluoro's.

I have 5 young seedlings of Northern Lights right now in another cabinet, will be moving them to this one eventually.
Now there in my basement but the wife wants them out of the house, (we have kids) so new cabinet in garage it is!
Next is Flowering room in garage! 400Watt HPS
Yes! i love clean wiring!..very incognito too!..how many babys are you gunna put in there?

There are ways to stack pc fans to increase pressure. You need a spacer between them. Find a cheap fan the same size and rip out the guts and attach it between your other two. That's from scrubninja's fan guide.

Examples of 2g11 or pl-l bulbs ( same thing) https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/256101-single-plant-trash-can-grow.html
The biggest advantage is when running vertical, all the heat is produced on the socket side and the other end is relatively cool. They also produce a lot more lumens than t8's and more than t5's from the ones I compared. A workhorse 8 can easily run 3 of the 55w and 4 of the 50w. They lose a lot less light internally than cfls.

Yeah I have open wiring in my cab at the moment too :/ Needing to get 18 gauge single strand, since the multi strand doesn't work on the 2g11 sockets worth a darn. And I hate electrical tape. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but can't get electrical tape to stick worth a darn even when brand new.

Use better electrical tape....
