okay so for the past few weeks ive been crawling through the spider filled dirt under my house. finally its starting to pay off. after breaking my bck lugging supplies to my under-house grow room ive finally got something to show for it.
so what i did was i stapled up some tyvek (white fiberglass paper-stuff) and covered the outside of that with black fabric to prevent light leakedge.

once that was all up i nailed up of those mylar things you use to reflect the sun off your dashboard so your car doesnt get hot.
after the basic construction was done, i threw some lights in there and now im growin.
the fat indica looking strain is hindu kush, the other is a pure spanish sativa.
hopefully ill get some more pictures up in a few weeks. :)

tell me what you guys think, its my first indoor grow, ive done some outdoor grows in the beutiful maui sunshine >:D but never inside, so criticism/thoughts welcome

well i guess you gotta grow where ever you can lol.

1) looks like it gets wet uner there. i hope you have all the electric plugged into a GFI protected circuit. this is a big MUST for safety.

2) i would have to say that you are going to have pest problems. bugs will love it in that crawlspace.

yeah but considering all the spiders he mentioned, I doubt the pests will be a problem
lol tue but i think he will get infested with bugs, fatten up all the spiders, get discouraged, give up on the grow, bugs go away or get eaten, then no more bugs for these huge ass spiders, spiders come into house and eat the gardener. :)

i agree with gottoloveit, get a HID light! you can find em real cheap if ya hunt. i got mine, a brand new hydrofarm for 150, it's badass.

oh i see, it'd make em bigger and bushier, but not totally necessary for veggin

i would still go with an mh lamp to get them big and bushy and i would also put a big fan on them so they get thick and strong!! i think that ul place ur plants in a harsher environment than the controlled environment you have them in now! this means that they need to be strong to withstand the wildernes!

That space is super stealth, here are my suggestions. Get a shovel, and dig a small rectangular bunker style area about 5x5 feet and 4 feet deep under the house, nothing too big, then get yourself a good grow tent, not too expensive and just some elbow grease should get this done. I would then fill the bottom of the little bunker with about 2 inches of gravel that way if water were ever to run in there, it would not get all wet and muddy. If you do this right you could have a very very nice little ultra stealth grow area under your house. Let us know how it goes.

good points guys, since the HID isnt totally necessary and i have pretty much no money at the moment ill prolly just stick with my setup and see how it goes. as for the fan, thats definatley a great idea ima put one in tonight.
the ground is super rocky and i dont think i can fit my shovel down there. its a sick idea but frankly im just wayy too lazyy :\
thanks guys, i apreciate the responsedsss
