There are a few threads dedicated to electrical questions with a fair few qualified electricians on them, they are old threads but shouldn't take much to figure out who is still active and give em a shout.

A few 2x4's and a roll of black and white probably make 10 tents. Whats your question with electrical. A local electrical code book might benefit, you can read it over and over till it all sinks in then fly at it, might help to narrow down some questions rather than being overwhelmed, just go slow and double check with the code book

Dont get the power at the pole, the meter is at the house and you would be bypassing that and stealing. pay your bills and be safe.

I grew up in the country, in an agricultural area. Our meter was mounted on a pole between the barn and the well. 50 ft from the house!
