Their suggested EC is crazy high though. Are people running that high in coco without issues?
I agree 3 EC would take some getting used to. Athena say in coco (up to 3.0 EC), depending on irrigation frequency.

Does this mean more frequent feeding frequency needs a weaker EC or the opposite???

I have just returned to 60/40 coco run to waste after 5 years of trying everything else and feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Next grow will be 2.5 ft tall plants in 7.5 liter pots fed 5 times daily and MAYBE one feed during dark.

With Athena will run around 2.5 - 2.8 EC keeping a close eye run off.

Any advice from Athena users would be greatly appreciated.

What I do not understand is what makes their feed (Athena) so different from other feeds that it can be fed at such high levels??? 3EC of any other feed I have used would fry my plants I normally push to 1.8.

I've run EC 3.0 for many runs with no problems. I've never fed at such a low feed, 1.8.
I am talking 1.8 with normal Nutrients (Vitalink). Are you talking you run 3.0 with Athena? If so what is your run off reading?
