Understanding PPM

I got a ppm last week and that's how I've been doing mine and it seem to work well. if it drops below 1.2ec I feed them over 2.0 it's just water.

A couple other tid bits I've picked up.

PPM
If your ppm is rising, it means your plants are using more water than nutrients.
If ppm climbs after a flush, it usually means that the medium is holding salts (the plants are not using all the nutes you're giving them).

And the choice of nutes we use.

Its like one big combination lock.

once we know the combination, its happy days !

That 's how I see it, in another year or two I'll likely be like the others, never really looking at my meters etc. But until I get to that point, things like a ppm meter help me understand a little more clearly what is going on with my plants.

ill be here , learning in 2 years time, all i know is so far that soil and nutes and taking measurements , and LOOKING at our plants are the fundamentals
