Unemployment law

got fired for timekeeping policy (boss didnt want to, HR had to) i clocked out a co-worker after she had left and forgot to do so herself. always happened in the office but because of a recent promotion someone decided to be a snitch. whatever, anyway, claim unemployment while i look for work, claim person calls store and gets information from non-authorized person (also happens to be person directly involved in incident and gave written statement to get me fired) and my claim ends up being denied before the right person is contacted by unemployment. have already filed for my appeal, just wanting to get any opinions on this.

check out unemployment law projects for your state. They are non profit organizations that represent you for unemployment claims when you go to court. Keep appealing till you get the answer you want and make sure to have representation when you go to court
