Unexpected growth!

I came back to my apartement a week ago and I discoverd a 10inch marihuana plant growing next to another plant I've got in my balcony. Nobody planted it.. but i ussaly throw the seed there when I roll a joint(wich I always thought were dry and dead)
I cant afford to expend a lot of money in fertilizers and stuff, so I try tu grow it as naturaly as possible, I dont care if it takes longer or is less-productive...
When I discoverd it i watered it inmediatly and continued to water it every day for 3-4 days, then i did a little research and since the soil is still humid wen i touch it, i havent waterd it ever since...
The plant allready grew like 4inches since i discovered it and the leaves got bigger, and lots of other leaves appeard, but some of the older leaves have brown tips and are getting browner (very slowly)
I have her in my balcony... but since its a high floor and it´s windy this time of the year i have her indoors and i get her out to the balcony when there´s direct sunlight (from 7am to 3pm) rest of the day she just sits by the window and gets undirect sunlight...
She´s sharing the space with onother plant and i want to transplant it but i dont now if i should wait for it to get stronger... any advices on this or how to reverse de brown tips? I have red hundreads of sites but there's so much information i just dont now how to process it...
I'm from Argentina so I apólogize if i have misspeld somthing and please remember this time of the year is spring here..
Thanks!
Jules

The brown tips probably indicate over-watering, especially since you've just perhaps treated this planter different than it had been treated a few days back. It's common this time of the season, as cooler temps require less water (larger planters/less)

I've grown plants almost 100% by a bright window . . . personally, I'd stick a 40W shop-light somewhere convenient, but hidden, for supplemental lighting and to regulate light when flowering.

Oops, didn't see the southern hemisphere note . . . is the other plant important, or could you cut it off at the surface? It may be tricky transplanting this plant. With summer coming, the ball's in your court re:which way you go with your discovery.

I can cut the other plant off but I still have to transplant it, this is actully my parents departement, and it's their planter too so I have to transplant it, cause when f they come back I have to take the plant elsewhere... you can imagine they wouldnt apriciate me having that cute plant lying arround thier appartment and they'll notice if tghe plnter is missing...:p

Well, I might take both out of their planter, then replace their plant w/similar, or another all together. I might explain that the other died?

Well, I finally transplanted it (cause my parents ar coming in like a week or so) the planter she was in wasnt very transplant-friendly and combined with my total lack of experience and the fact that there was another plant there I had to remove too... well lets say it wasnt what you should call a clean transplant. But, since I have no idea what Im doing I cant tell if it was really bad or not... there may have been some root damage but not a lot I think...
The next morning I freaked out cause she looked all droopy, more than I ever seen it... but since then she doesnt look that bad...
The soil mix I used was country earth, humus and a special soil for planters with perlite compost and other stuff...
I watered it inmediatly after transplant (but didnt flooded though) and the soil is still moist... she didnt get much direct sunlight since its kinda windy out there in the balcony and i dont want to stress her any more
Some of the lower leafs have curled and look papery... but the younger leafs look ok... cant tell if theres been any growth since its been like a day and a half...
Can you tell from the pictures if I f---d up or not?
shes like 20 inches tall and were mid-spring here, when will it show sex?
please I need someone to call me down and tell me shes gonna be fine...!
tnx!

the last inch of soil is left over from another planter (wich used to have a plant)so those are dead plants roots you see on the picture ;-)

get rid of them though even though it may be a small chance you run a risk of attracting unwanted guests imo i would clean those out a little but good transplant

So my plant has been transplanted for a week now and it seems to be doing ok.. BUT
today I found yet another SURPRISE!
next to it in the same pot a small plant appeard, and it looks just like a cannabis offspring! :weed:

how can this be? maybe torn root found it´s way? does that happen?

what should I do now? transplant it... wait... get it more water... less... more sunlight... less?

I missed my plants first stages and I have no idea how to take care of both of them... and i have less idea with the younger...

culd you guys confirm it is what i think it is?
you've been great help and support, so thanks a lot!

well that little sprout you were asking about is definetly another marijuana plant!!!! transplant it wen u can. because of its small size you don't have to stress about it for a while. just keep watering it ;)

it is another plant dont think it was from roots cause of they cotyledon looks like you had another seed in there might have taken super long time to grow or someone put another in there

The little one is definately marijuana, and definately NOT from the root of the big plant. Probably another seed that you had thrown in the original planter? Dig it out carefully, taking a clump of dirt out with it and put it in it's own pot. You don't want two plants in the same pot together. Do what you've been doing with the big plant, just don't give it any fertilizer for two weeks or so.

yea thats another sprout (from a separate seed) .. only through 'cloning' can you obtain another plant without starting from seed.. let it get at least two or three more sets of real leaves then transplant it to its own planter.. That main plant is rather large, I would begin the transition phase into flowering now - they tend to double in size by harvest time.. good luck!

wow! separate seeds? really? I mean the first plant was like a miracle to me but yet another one? with out me ever planting anything?
Now it gets scaryer... check this thingy next to the little plant at the bottom of the first pic im submiting... is that something else..? or am I plant paranoid and I thing everythin is marihuana?
I hope you guys dont think I´m kidding.. I really have no idea what I´m doing but this cute plants keep showing up and growing!

got no idea how to take the big one into flowering since my grow method is.. well not a method at all... I take her out the balcony when the sun shows (if its not too windy) and then take her inside by the window with inderect sunlight... she gets as many night as the night´s long but since I keep her in the living room.. do you think regular lightbulbs that I keep on while Im arround before I go to bed messes with her lighting/dark cycles?

Second pic is a weed, and not the kind we're trying to grow. Yank it out and toss it. As for flowering your plant, at some point you're gonna have to put her(if it is a her) in a 12/12 light cycle. 12 hours on, 12 hours off, if you want to cross the finish line and harvest some bud. That means your plant will need to have complete darkness for 12 hours a day, and they have to be the same 12 hours each day. Can't have it dark from 8PM until 8AM one day, and the next day have it dark from 6PM to 6AM. Know what I mean? If these are things that you won't be able to accomplish I'm afraid your plant is doomed. Best of luck!
