Right to work is falsely presented as giving people (workers) rights more so than they already have , when it actually weakens their position in many ways . One way being lower wages , it is a known fact that unions keep wages up . Destroying or breaking down unions because of corruption scandals and replacing with politicians who are corrupt as stewards of workers rights is ridiculous . No matter how much they trample upon the rights of workers the politicians will still have jobs .

i have worked in places where we agreed with the boss to work 10 hour days, without overtime (despite state law to the contrary) in exchange for 4 day work weeks. on those occasions where management wanted to increase production they would invite us in for a 5th (all overtime) day no matter what day of the week it was in. this flexibility and voluntary agreement between workers and employers is destroyed by unions and their insistence on their approval and intercessi0on in all negotiations. this allowed them to run 2 shifts instead of 3, with 4 hours downtime between runs for maintenance. that was where my team came in, the four hours between shifts is when we dashed in, fixed the machinery, cleaned the joint, sterilized the equipment and got ready for the next production run. this system worked extremely well for several years, until the regulators decided that voluntary contracts are not a valid method to avoid their mandates. net result: 1 business closed down and moved to nevada, ~130 full time and ~40 part time employees unemployed, and california enhances it's reputation as the Torquemada of business regulation.

fuck regulators.
fuck unions.
fuck leftists and their quislings.

yep. MORE difficult. the union has it's own agenda and they decide what we can request in negotiations. union agitators came in several times at the place i refer, and they were repeatedly refused, we,, the employees and They, the management didnt need the uniuon standing between us.

every union i have ever been in (teamsters, agricultural workers and foodservice/hospitality) has sucked huge donkey balls. the union decides what we want/need and pursue it their own way to the ultimate detriment of those of us who do not desire a 9 to 5 punchclock existence, and prefer to not pay some asshole for their unwanted "services" on our behalf.

the unions pretend they want to fuck the management, and tell the workers we will get sloppy seconds, what really happens is workers and management get fucked by the union, and they steal a slice of both our pies for the privilege of getting boned by their team of pimps.

my personal preference is to chose my own employment, not have it foisted upon me by some leftist agitator.

you may like unions, i dont.

i have been in 3 different unions on 5 different occasions, and it always sucks.

i prefer being the scab who crosses the picket line.
when the unions picket local supermarkets i go out of my way to cross their pickets.
