That must be a popular program. When I "voluntarily" pay my income tax, I make the check out to the US Treasury. I think they may be the source of the larges you are enjoying. But I've taken my share over the years. If fact, it was cost sharing on planted pines. Got the trees free and 50 bucks an acre to help cover the planting. Thank you Uncle Sugar.I don't take anything from anyone. I am using a federally funded program that is voluntarily paid into by people like you. Thank you.
I have one of those in my hiking cook set. A good piece of gear. Well worth the weight when it comes to toasting wraps.
Man, EXACTLY. These are the bastards living beyond 65-70. They clog up the system as they age untilThere is already real cost savings in this country geared toward saving Social Security. Smokers are the biggest savers, but drinkers and fast food eaters help too. A study in one of the little Scandinavian countries found that smokers saved 4.5B yearly on the retirement plan. Image with our larger population the savings we are getting. So when you see those guys huddled outside doorways in the freezing cold, or blazing heat with a cig, shake their hand and thank them for doing their part. Anyone eating their veggies and exercising, those SOB's are going to cost us a fortune.
Everyone should get it. The rich just earn enough to tax it back from them. Different and less complex approach, same outcome.people worth over 250,000 a year don't need ubi
I have a Rush loving cousin who talks about the "poor" all the time. His favorite saying is without beer, tobacco and the lottery, we would never get taxes from the poor. While he doesn't smoke or dip, he does drink and buy scratch offs, so he is chipping in, even though he's pretty well off.Man, EXACTLY. These are the bastards living beyond 65-70. their skin is falling off the bone. 85, 95 , 100. Kept alive on all the damn meds.
Now, we smokers and drinkers will die early, but we get spat on from society at large for our vices.
Even though our vices are taxed to the hilt to keep the entire system afloat!
Not all of them. My Mamma was all the bad things old people are, but she was no Republican. She was a Democrat back when they were the racists party, and she wasn't going to change parties just because Kennedy and Johnson moved the party away from it's roots. She did live to almost 89 though, collecting SS as well as half of Daddy's VA disability. She made more not working than I made working.Oh and these sweet elderly folk that live to 80, 90, 100 who had no 'vices'.
They always vote republican. Doing more harm to society...from their lazy boys...
Voting for an orange conman with a bullshit patriotic pitch.
That's if you even realise you've been exploited. Often people don't. Decisions taken by HR can be exploitative and nobody even knows except the person in HR making the decision.
I determine what my time is worth. If you aren't willing to pay me that I simply won't work for you.
I dont think i could get paid what i think im worth an hr, I have to settle for as much as i can.I determine what my time is worth. If you aren't willing to pay me that I simply won't work for you.
no argument here.a basic job-non skilled, should provide the basic lifestyle. But it doesnt.
You agree but just dont see it.
