IMO,multiverse..everyones perceives the Universe differently but the same objective Universe is measured by standards of scientific research/study and scientist are still discovering new phenomena to this day so who knows how far it will go.
My point is that each and everyone of us look at this universe in our own way and perceive it how we choose for the most part,whether scientist or not,this alone IMO constitutes multiverse in its own right,though it be more subjective at this level.

My considered opinion is that it doesn't matter to me. The universe, by definition, encompasses all that I can conceivably experience. I would not be able to tell a universal from a multiversal existence, and thus invoking my favorite monk's favorite shaving tool ... say a universe will do for me. cn

Not true my good bear. See the theory behind the multiverse is that the physics, chemistry, everything can be different, and thus you will have a noticeable change moving between two.
I get what you are saying though. Self-centric, but a cool way of looking at things.

...I remember discussing with you the idea that fundamental particles may perhaps be subject to further fundamentality (hehe). You wouldn't apply that to our current view of the universe?

I watched this thing one time, where they did a bunch of mathematical equations to figure out how much energy is needed for the expansion of the universe to expand the way it does... they number they came up with was so astronomically small that it just didn't make any sense, unless of course, we change the equations to incorporate a multiverse. Not sure how they did it, or where i watched it, maybe through the wormhole or into the universe, one of those shows.

All of that is theory at best. Most is just hypothetical.
But, I do tend to agree with everything you said, just that as an intelligent individual, you have to take everything with a grain of salt, and always be willing to change your opinions if they are proved wrong.
I'm pretty current on EVERYTHING cosmos, having watched all of those netflix shows, as well as MIT classes, etc, as it is one of my true passions, and everything that has to do with multiverses is hypothetical and imagination, not to say that it can't be true though.

You didn't answer the op though... I already demonstrated that I know any opinion is hypothetical, maybe theoretical at best.
The reason I asked the question is because it is a very forward thought in terms of cosmology, being maybe 10 years old with regards to community discussion.
Furthermore, if you begin to accept a multiverse or better yet, an infiniteverse, you can start to get into some cool occurrences and possibilities
