exhaust over the plants or opposite side of room. Can I exhaust from the center of the room if I'm only growing on one half? (is so I can run the duct a lot cleaner)

run the exhaust out the side of the tent, there is holes specifically for this and for the carbon filter as well at the top :-)

you should see some kind of straps to handle these in your tent... pretty standard :-)

Just make sure you run enough duct for your needs.

Sure bud

As long as your exhasting from the top where its hot your good.

I like to cross ventilate

So if my fan is on one side ill intake from the opposite .

If you exhaust from the center i would intake from both sides

It's been about 1.5 weeks now and I have only used 1 light so far (1000w led) is it safe to go ahead and put them under double the light now? I doubt it's a true 1000w's as there are cheap ebay led's. I get my 630w CMH lights in about a month from today. I plan to veg until the scrog is nice and full my guess is going to be about 6 weeks from today. Definitely not going to flower under these lights

What you can do is just make sure your light is as low as possbile without hurting the plants

Your light hieght is probably ok but what i would do to help

Is just get some white cardbord box and make a reflector so the light is more concentrated

If that makes sense

Whats the usuable foot print for your light?
Probably 4x4 if its a thousand watter but how many actual watts at the wall?

Basically you dont need the second one on till they get too big for the first one which will be a few weeks yet...

But come flower time that extra light will be awsome

I'm ordering a 630w CMH light in a few weeks I keep hearing bad things about these cheap Ebay LED lights. I want to do it wright this time around. about 8 years ago I did 2 grows it was fun I had a diffrent user name on her but forgot my pass word.

As i have found if anything blurple lights can help add some frost

Yea the card borad just keeps rhe light from having to bounce so far to your tent walls

Just don't box it in so tight it makes em too hot lol

I veg with 315’s CMH
I love them . They have cut my veg Watts in half and dropped 2 weeks of veg time.

The Phillips bulb is worth the extra $

Stupid cheap LED lights!!!! one just stopped working and I had the other one daisy chained to it so that one was off also for about 2 hours. I don't have enough for the CMH fixtures yet so for now I just order a 1000w HPS / MH fixture and paid for the over night. I guess I'll use these for a grow or 2. Grrrrr...

I will just use the LED light in my 2x4 with a free auto seed I got "Sweet tooth" it the strain I believe and see what happens.

Youd have to double check me cause i havent used them

But if i recall if you have a digital 1000w ballast with a boost setting

You can buy a slitter that will lett you run 2 hoods with 600w bulbs off the one ballast

It would the same amount of watts just spread out more which is good for rectangular grows

So I got rid of the LED lights today and put in the old trusted 1000w MH... not what I wanted but what I could afford until I can save up for the 630w CMH. At least I don't have to worry about it crapping out. Any ideas what to do with the LED light other than target practice?

Also when transplanting today 2 of my plants root balls loosened up by quite a bit. It didn't break off so I don't know how much root damage was caused. I did add root66 and some sugar daddy after to help with the stress and roots. Any advice is welcome
