where did you read that in the article the only thing we hear is this
"We are taking the current practice as a starting point. It is not perfect but in many ways we have a functioning coffee shop system," an Amsterdam city spokesman said.

the only one in support of this in the article is the government in the form of the Dutch minister for security and justice.

yeah we'll see... i really dont think they could afford to lose all that tourism but who knows. it would be a shame if they did make it illegal for foreigners. they say its to try and curb crime from around the sales, then they mention traffic jams...if traffic jams are the problems then i see no problems...

Dude. WTF? OK, Californians, it's your job to get out and vote for legalization, so the rest of the world still has a place to bring our tourist dollars to. If Holland doesn't want tourism money, fuck 'em. I'm sure there are plenty of places that want our tourism dollars.
