OK , we are not M.Blaze , but for our first grow I feel we have some really good buds . I have never grown before but I've smoked enough to know what good bud is .How do we know when it is time to harvest ? We really need some help on that one , as we grew 3 strains (mistake) . I think the Blue Dream is ready . Feel free to chime in here or @ our journal , tia.

They are both pretty much the same...

Preaching "overall ripeness" vs the "amber/milky trich only" method...

SZ has been kicking ass and taking names since before I was here.. :lol:

I TRUST SZ's word just as much as I trust FDD's...

Which should say a LOT... :lol:

LOL....i'll trust anybodys word that has great results and pics to prove it. Those buds looked yummy. I'm gonna try and be patient this rouind and let them go awhile longer and see what happens.

I like the different highs...

I ALWAYS chop some early.. some on time and some real real late... like almost let the plant die on it's own....

They are all different in taste and high... :eyesmoke:

and I like them all... :hump:

Dude I think your plants look Great! I would grab up those buds when almost all the hairs are red/amber. flush with water the last few feeds so you wash out the excess nutes, clip, trim, dry, cure for a week maybe 2 and presto! :clap:

I like to harvest for a good narcotic full body buzz as I hate head uppitty highs myself. I like to harvest when hairs are about 50% red and getting milky. For me indicas harvest around the 5-7 week mark and a sativa heavy plant in the 8-12 week mark. Flushing these sweet purple plants and taking them down in about a week..Flowered 8 weeks on these..Had that mite fight in week 6 which gave me some leaf damage but seems like wasnt the worse case. i have decided I am ordering a few containers of predator mites with mite destroyers mixed in and going to put them in all my gardens and then few preying mantiz egg sack in the yard to poulate the yard with hopes they help keep outside thinner populated too..Yeah took a bunch was bored the last one is some fresh rooted clones just popped into 4x4 rockwool cubes..think its 33 sweet purpz which will go into an 8x4 tent setup next week right now I have them filling one of my mini flood table setups I built vegging for now

Nice Tile looks good. I have to work on getting better spacing on my pants so guess I gotta stop being so lazy and do some more training and pruning as I do basci lollipoping once then let them go wild lol They bush to much so gonna do a batch and try to put some work in seems like never enought time to tend all the gardens as I should lol...Thanks Gypsy they came out ok for a bullshit side grow of left over extra clones and little attention
