T5 fluorescent grow light 8 bulbs 40,000 lumens they are about 3 inches above the plant at this moment and the stretching is from when I started off the wrong way without the right light. Only got the t5 10 days ago when I started the flowering.
The "stretch" is from 12/12...they do that, especially a Sativa dominant plant...seperate that possible male, and when the pollen sacs start to open clip the part w/pollen sacs and put into a baggie, wait for 2 days (pollen sacs will open) and shake it, then I use a toothpick to get a lil pollen and rub it on some lower branches pistils to create my own beans and strains :hump: might not be the way others do it, but it works for me :weed:

EDIT: Grow that pollenated female by itself, don't want that lil bit of pollen getin' all your girls :wall:

On your next usage of this light it could be very beneficial for you to look into a SCROG.

How big is your light?

A SCROG would keep your plant trained within a specific netting area allowing for a level canopy with good bud growth maximising the yield for the lighting.

SCROG was conceived for flouro growing.

The trouble now is that anything below about 6-8" from the top isn't going to receive enough light to produce anything.

Right now you could perform some LST (low stress training).

This involves using ties to secure down the plants stems/branches forcing them over and allowing more light to lower parts.

I have never used scrod before wouldn't know we're to start lists of people are subjecting it tho. I have a 4x6 t5. The plants have many colas to the side growing up like I've seen in scrod ad I haven't even done anything

The biggest male is 2-1/2 feet tall with 9 colas and the the second male is 2 feet tall with 7 colas, so disappointed because I was hoping the smaller ones would be males :( well GPRS put them outside tonight so they don't pollinate the girls ima let them grow with a runt female to produce seeds for another batch. So I'll have 5 females to harvest from and the dyna grow bloom is making them get huge! Very satisfied with the product in liquid form always used powder before. Does anyone have a complete cloning journal on here? Plan to make a sea of green with a scrog screen for my next batch after harvest so have lots of reading time to learn

Well if you have lots of seeds then sog would be good. I don't know how long seeds need to dry or whatever before they will germinate, might be an interesting question. Personally I'd stick with the scrog, too many individual pots to worry about. I can guide you through the scrog and sure heaps of others will too, but the sog seems like a good option too!

Going to wait to do then when I build the grow room outside so I can have better control and less suspicion

I agree with more plants in a SOG equals more to worry about and can be a pain to water unless your doing hydro or have a watering system set up. It seems like P takes his plants out of his grow to water as well from the pics? Which is going to be hard to do as they get bigger and wouldn't really work well for either system. Its best if you can keep them in their environment and not move them to much as they get bigger and in flower. What you should do P is look at people's grow journals on here that are using your same type of light. Will give you a great idea of how to get the most out of your light. The issue you have is penetration...lol that sounds funny :) The light you have will not be as effective with tall plants. So you should look at techniques like LST, topping, Fim...those would work good for creating bushier plants with an even canopy so you can have more top bud sites close to the light. Those techniques work great when you put a screen down and scrog. You will have less plants that cover the same area and produce the same or more buds (in theory) then having more plants in a SOG. The SOG works well from clone with little or no-veg time and you have more plants that yield less but make up for it with qty and shorter turnaround times.

I topped my current grow and did some late lst to open the canopy to let the lower part catch up and create an even canopy. I have two plants that cover a 2'x3' area and should produce as much as four if I grew them without doing any type of training in the same area....based on me keeping them the same height and veg times. For me it comes down to space of grow area and type of light (400 HPS) the number of plants doesn't matter as much because they will fill the space regardless and my light can only do so much (3'x3' area and 3' deep penetration. I added the net right before flower to help open the canopy and support the branches as the buds bulk up and get heavy.

So I bought stuff to help better the grow, still waiting on my carbon filter to come in the mail, and I put up Mylar on the walls for light reflection.
