Ok, just thought i would let you guys see how everything is going. I just transplanted my babies, and everything is lookin ok, except a couple minor things that i should have fixed within the next week if all goes well.
Im just under 3 weeks of veg -

some of the yellowing looks worse in the pic than it does up close, and alot of it has actually gone away since i transplanted like 10 hours ago, but some of it is still there, n i kinda think some of it is from lack of light on the bottom of the plant, and probably some from nute burn too. In case some of you dont know me, this is my first ever grow, total ghetto setup, and i do need all the help i can get. Transplanted from MG to regular potting soil, with schultz plant food which is 10-15-10. lemme know what you guys think..:D

my biggest baby from top view. She is roughly 11 or 12" right now

My middle child from top view - she got topped once, but then one of the regrown tops got mutilated by a falling lamp, so now theres only 3 top branches, lol.

from the side, shes about 7" right now

and of the stem

This is the runt, shes just been slow as hell, dont really know why, this is the one i was bitching about earlier when i transplanted, the very bottom of the stem is almost completely white. I just think i have more of the stem exposed than i did before i transplanted is all though:

n heres the stem, it actually looks more yellowish than anything here in this pic, but when u look up close, it looks more white to me at the bottom.

Like i said, just about 3 weeks, and all seems well so far after todays transplant. Notes and opinions would be much appreciated.

yes those first pics have nute burn
what are you using for lite
you said 3rd week of veg, what the total age??

i actually planted them on the 29th of last month, so its actually right around 3 weeks altogether. Im just using some CFL lamps i had in my garage. two hangin mid-wall about 4 inches above my big one, and the other lamp is hangin 6 or 7 inches above the two smaller plants. I just moved them a little higher up cuz i was worried that the leaved were getting a little crispy but thats just me being paranoid i think. I have one more CFL lamp in my garage that i can take apart and mount so its hitting the bottoms of the plants, but i dont wanna take up much more room, cuz im REALLY limited on space at the moment. When i flower im probably gonna move them, if not im gonna have to do it in two different rooms(i got a ghetto setup like a muhfukka), lol.

Alot of the yellowing has actually gone away in the 10 hours that ive had the plants transplanted wierdly enough. I didnt know plants could fix themselves that quickly. Heres a pic of my setup. what you dont see is about an extra 2 feet of growing space heightwise. I dont really want my big plant to get TOO TOO much taller before i flower, but im not too worried about it cuz it looks like its gonna be a pretty bushy indica.
heres a pic of my growspace:

like i said, theres space there that you dont see, i know it looks cramped as shit in there, but theres room trust me. lemme know what else i can do to make sure my babies stay healthy, id really be thankful.

only nutes im using is schultz plant food 10-15-10. 7 drops per quart - i mix a gallon at a time, plus i have a mister for the foliage too.

my bottom leaves are starting to get more and more yellow. It looks like they are dying off. Is my plant fucked??

10-15-10 is not reaaly what you want and schultz for weed not good
but it is what you have so you are using it ..
the bottom leaves are dying from lack of light and lack of (n)..the first number..
that said dont go give it more 10-15-10..it is not balance .
a tripple 20 would be better
but a fert made for mj would be even better...
your box there is agood idea ..you should paint the inside white or get some mylar or somthing..
do you have any fans for exhast or air movement...
your comments about being the fat kid or you smell are funny not sure why
it is you got some thing good going on

lol, thanks man. So , what can i get to supplement the n in my fert? im on the broker side of the tracks financially, so really my problem is i just gotta work with what i got. I wanna order some fox farm ferts, n im probably gonna within the next couple weeks, but in the meantime, what can i do to make sure that my shit doesnt die off any more than it already has? do i stop using the schultz altogether and just use straight up water with my soil??

i actually just made a couple phonecalls around my area to see if i could find a decent fert for my plants. I found one thats for tomatoes and the percentage is 18-18-21 n thats the closest they have to 20-20-20. So im gonna go pick that up tomorrow, and im gonna let my plants dry out, water them , let them dry out again, and then ill use my new nutes. Thats what i should do as far as letting the nutes i have in there already run their course before i introduce something different into the soil right?

i think i would go the opposite way and flush the soil to get the old stuff out
tomato fert becareful it has high ph i think not sure...
damn eh!! one problem after another.. ha ha

yeh i know man ffs. Growin is alot more complicated than i thought it would be. I mean, shits goin ok as of right now, n as soon as i get it down, im gonna probably get a dro system or aeroponics system n do it up right, but i wanna get a feel for what its like to go through it all first. From seed to nugget, IF i can make the little fuckers get all the way through to that point FFS!!:wall:

Whats up KingSpade...

You have a very nice fat leafed indica... I love the look of fat indica's...but then again I also love the look of slender sativas lol...

Any way... yea... looks like you have some nute burn... but the flushing should help out... in fact.. Since you have already flushed once... wait at least 3 days, then flush again... wait 3 days and reintroduce them to a light nute/water mix... Start with 1/4 of what ever the label recommends and work up from there with each watering.

The schults works, but it's easy to burn the plants since it's really concentrated.

the 20-20-20 would be a good choice... but if you can get some fish emulsion (it's cheap) that would work great for veg.. it's 5-1-1.

How ever... you may want to switch them to flower now... since they will stretch a lot during the first weeks of 12/12.

What kind of lights are you using?

Getting the sides of the grow space more reflective would be a great upgrade... use white paint... or reflective mylar.

also some air movement... a fan or 2

At your local pet store or even at walmart in the pet section you should be able to find a cheap dropper style PH test kit... use that to ph the water or water/nute mix to around 6.0... it will drift up in the soil... the ideal reading for soil is 6.5... test the run off from the bottom of your pot.. it should be around 7 or 7.5.... So water with ph at 6.0 and the run off should be around 7.0

All this only seems complicated... but once you have it down, it's all pretty easy... like you said.. for now you just want to get the hang of things... so think of this grow as nothing more then a learning experience... and the bud you get at the end is just icing on the cake =]

Good luck man... and don't forget to have fun.

hell yeah dude, im havin a blast doin this n learnin from my mistakes in my first shot at this. As far as lights, im using the same CFL's your using actually, i got two lamps n one in the ceiling fixture to eliminate shadows anywhere. I also have one giant oscilating fan in there too, just moving the air around n keeping the plants cool - not for exhaust or anything like that. N i did start the flowering process just 3 days ago, switching from 20/4 to 12/12, and yeah they already stretched a good 3 inches, but since i tied all of the taller shutes down to the pot, i still have plenty of room for them to grow.

Ill hook it up with some pics both in here, and ill send you some so you can have a look for yourself too.

Thanks for the input man. :D
