I'm vegging a plant in a 3-gal fabric pot. I want to train it into a net for a bit before switching to flower. So for those with scrog experience. Should I transplant it 20230202_123858.jpgto a 5 or 7-gal pot before I start training it into the net? I want the roots to be able to accommodate a few weeks of veg + flower. It will be the only plant in a 3x3x5 tent
Pic of the current size. I plan to transplant and start net training in 2-3 weeks

I would, it's going to be a real bitch to do it after they've grown into the net. Maybe impossible without causing damage.

There is not a big difference between 5 & 7 gal pots dude. I'd go with 7s cause you are likely to get more of a bushy plant from it. Whenever I try smaller pots my plants are smaller. Many growers on here use very small pots with great success but if you want fool proof bushes then use a larger pot.

If you've ever seen potted plants at nurseries the ones in smaller pots always are smaller even if it's the exact same plant just in a different pot.
