Uppotting question

Hello, I’ve been growing in soil for about 12 years now. I’ve always gone from red cup to one gallon veg pot to 7 gallon cloth pot. I’m battling a debilitating illness right now and really struggling with even making it downstairs to the grow room. I’m trying to save myself any extra work possible and still take care of my patients. What harm is there is planting my girls right from the red cups into the 7 gallon flower pots? I know how to water properly so wouldn't’ over water. I’ve just always used the intermediate veg pots and like the nice root ball they form but what difference will it really make? I typically veg in the gallon pots about 2 weeks or until roots fill pots fully then another 2 weeks or so before I flip to flower, so about 4 weeks veg time depending on the size of the girls. Any thoughts?

You're good. Biggest issue is not over wetting the medium until roots develop more. Just slowly up the amount of water you're using as the plants get bigger.
Sorry to hear you're not in good health and I wish you well

Thank you very much for your reply and kind words! I really hate to vary from my standard growing technique but desperate times ugh I will be really carful with the watering!
