Give Elizabeth Warren credit. She's got a bunch of filthy rich bankers upset.

Quote:

Big Wall Street banks are so upset with Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren's call for them to be broken up that some have discussed withholding campaign donations to Senate Democrats in symbolic protest, sources familiar with the discussions said.

Representatives from Citigroup, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, have met to discuss ways to urge Democrats, including Warren and Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, to soften their party's tone toward Wall Street, sources familiar with the discussions said this week.

oh, no! not the donations!

guess what wall street? the dems are now to big to fail:wink:

oh! hillar-yyyyyyy..

Wall street would just target a different dem to beat her in the primaries. I have to ask why people think it's a party issue re: our too big to fail banks?

The best way to have broken them up would have been to let them fail. The banks doing it the right way have taken business from them and grown and the banks doing it the wrong way would have been properly punished.

How many Wall Street execs were even charged with a crime? Do you really believe that was because of ONE party?

because wall street is GOPville.

There is a revolving door between DC and WS. Keep making it partisan and the party you will not hold accountable gets a free pass for doing exactly what the party you blame is doing.

This is an article written by Warren bitching about the Obama administration and the democratic party's inclusion of Wall Street execs.

It's not from Fox News, it's not from a republican bitching about dems, it's from the only nominee complaining about the revolving door. Wanna make a bet she doesn't get through the primaries?

I know you'll be back again repeating the same nonsense, but in case anyone reads your partisan drivel as fact, they can click on the link.

I agree the GOP sucks if that helps any.

I just happen to think the Dems suck too. Different side of the same coin.

No difference when it comes to Wall Street and with cheerleaders like you, there never will be. The dems held the holy trinity directly after the banking crisis. Can you explain why not one single exec was brought up on charges?

Yep, I agree. Obama Administration is perpetuating wall street with lack of prosecution and cabinet appointments.

I have no idea how to determine if Wall Street is dominated by republicans. I just know they are a bunch of filthy rich SOBs that we taxpayers had to bail out, while some CEOs were still receiving their multi-million dollar bonuses.

And so I hate their fucking guts. Democrat or republican.

yes.

So are the democrats. Obama has loaded his cabinet with Wall Street insiders left and right and virtually every policy decision he's ever made benefits them. And his justice department refuses to throw criminal charges at them even when they are way more than appropriate.

President Obama’s nomination of Antonio Weiss to serve as the Treasury Department’s top domestic finance official is drawing fire from an unusual sector: his fellow Democrats.

Liberal lawmakers like Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) have been quick to oppose Weiss, a major investment banker with Lazard.

Among their grievances is the fact that Lazard’s work is primarily in international finance and he is nominated for a domestic position. They’re also critical of his role in structuring several tax inversion deals, which have drawn criticism from the president himself.
