I just germinated a few seeds other day and I though 1 had sprouted and it was just white now a day latter I see it's the tab root growing up side down is this a common thing?
Should I expect any complications from the plant once it grows correctly

The seed is in a jiffy pot. I added some coco to the bottom and turned it over

Not normal. Do you have a picture? I'd love to see it. I've had weird things happen here too with roots growing up.

No sadly I didn't take a pic before I corrected it. Was worried the time it was out had already caused damage so rushed it back to normal

The root normally comes out the top, then straightens itself out, lifting the seed hull above the surface. Just leave it alone.

you've never had a seedling where the tap root grows up, and the coty's are below the soil line?
Yes, I have. That's what I was saying. Just recently, I had beans in a portable propagator and had 2 of the beans roots only come up. Last year, I had a girl in a solo cup and the roots had no where else to go but up. Interesting
