Looks like they were already drooping in the first pic and progressively got worse. Need some more info.. watering schedule, medium, nutes etc. Tell us everything you can about your setup.

I've had plants do that with either too much or too little water. If the soil is wet or been wet for too long then I'd let it dry a bit, or even transplant it into some dry soil to help absorb the excess water. You could also drill a bunch of 1/4 to 3/8" holes in the sides to allow it to dry quicker. Imo you should have holes either way, it helps it dry faster and helps prevent rot etc, you will just need to water more often with holes is all. If the soil is dry I'd simply water it and it should snap back in a day. It could also be root rot and/or root bound, either way the roots are hurtin and will do that to the plant and need transplant asap, like today!
If it were me I'd pop the pot off and look at it, it would be good to see how the roots are doing either way. Maybe post a pix. Hopefully they're more white than brown. If they're brown and they stink you've rotted them and need a transplant now. Either way we really need more info to give you the best answer...

Remember temperature if it keeps dropping the plants do not drink as much place thermometer on the soil what is the temperature after 5 minutes if it is not between 72 and 78 Fahrenheit then soil is staying damp as there is no evaporation going on they do not like this so even if the top inch is dry through the fan blowing it the temperature of the soil will be cold let me no your stats

ok so im back home from work, here is the deal 2hrs later from my original post.....the plant is back.... and standing pretty tall again, i watered it with about one and a half bottles of water before i left. i have added no nutes since i planted i figured the soil had enough until i went into flowering then i would add pottassium. ive been watering once a week every monday 2 bottles. the bucket it is in is about 3 gallon, why would i need to transplant the plant? ive never transplanted once, its been in there since day one, figured it was big enough. They look like they are drooping in the original pic because i tucked the big fan leaves out of the way of the new growth because they were getting absolutely no light cause of the fan leaves. other than that the plant is under a 150 watt hps for 19/5. i plan on flowering the plant on monday. there is always a fan running the entire time the light is on. other than that please let me know what other info you need to help me.

The answer is in your pic and you should learn from it,

It was UNDER WATERED

I know because not only are the leaves drooping but the stems are drooping as well

When you OVER WATER only the leaves droop not the stems

This is just one way that the plants tell us what they want :bigjoint:

so this whole time ive been told that ive been OVER watering my plant, i really just havent watered enough. that is why after one hour after i watered today the plant looks 90% better already. and what is soil surface temp pse? how often should i water? one bottle every 3 days?

Sorry, I assumed the pot was small at ~ 1 quart and you'd be transplanting soon anyway. I had no idea it was that big. So canx the transplant comment. Also canx the "pull the pot off and look" comment, that would be a lot harder to do than with a little pot.
That's great it snapped back, best of luck to you.

Riddleme: Thanks for that tip about the stems drooping to determine over vs under watering. I didn't know that!

There is no schedule you water when the plant needs it, This is how I roll anyway

No Problem, glad to help

My style of growing mimicks mother nature and that is how I water, I make it rain :bigjoint:

Details of how to control/dial in every element in your garden are in my NooB Advice thread

thank you so much riddleme, you have been soo much help the last few days, very much appreciated. thank you to everyone else as well, i guess all it has ever needed was more water. it has sprung back up tremendously so far but the bottom leaves are yellow now. ill add more water in a few days. The plant is now 8 weeks old and roughly 22inches in height, there are white hairs everywhere, im gonna start flowering monday. should i add nutes soon? when do i know its time?

the yellowing leaves are the plant telling you FEED ME :bigjoint:

They want N

what nutes are you using?

i havent added any nutes yet just whatever is in the dirt, its 8 weeks old i figured miracle grow put enough in for at least a few months no? also i think its yellow a little because it was almost just dead they seem to be darkening more now, maybe it just needs time to recover from whatever this was.

definentaly you need to saturate your soil and let the top inch to two inches of soil get dry and then water again

and as far as nutes go, i think for begginers the most effective simple ferts are the botanicare products....(pro blend gro...for veg.)(pro blend bloom..for flower) and another i like to add is botanicare liquid karma...Those three products will give you everything you need from beggining to end and are very simple to use...
Good luck and have fun growing
