I just hope all these newly appointed Supreme Court judges + senators uphold the law and constitution. Not spit in it's face to serve some nefarious plan or ideal.
The anxiety up in here until November 3rd and through to January is very real. People are stressed about it.
Won't piss in USA's pocket and show my sympathy. Only say that a very small part of myself can understand what others might be feeling as well.
I'm out of here for good. It is none of my business to state my own opinions any further. We have enough to worry about ourselves.

Australians dont hate Americans, Its weird that even on Facebook etc Americans are always saying how other countries hate them. Thats not true. Most people like Americans they just dislike a lot of their Nations policies. Often the same things that Americans hate. Ive got on and liked every American ive met. The American Club in Sydney used to go off on your big national days.
Americans need to come to terms that the rest of the world takes note and has opinions on their policies and politics. Its not like America doesnt dabble in and try to control politics around the globe- often by illegal force.
Australians by nature take an interest in politics, its a good thing when the country see's a 97% voting turnout every election.

It might be that my view of the word 'haters' is pretty watered down. We use it a lot over here. Desensitized to the word.
Yeah you guys are right, it is a weird cultural/language difference here in the states I think. We are all programmed to use snowflake language.
Here it is equivalent to the word 'jealous'.
It's also part of the reasons so many Americans freak when we hear 'death to America'. From what I was told it is basically like us saying weirdly religious things like 'bless you' every time someone sneezes.

Fair enough, I get it. Half my people only survived America because they made it far enough south to not be genocided.
I really wish the rich white guys would not have stuck our necks out into that region after the mess WW1 and WW2 made of those continents.
But what can we do, left to their own echo chamber, white men did a lot of shitty things in our history. That is why we are trying very hard to get all of our nations best and brightest the same opportunities to lift themselves up and move our nation forward. We just got one of the major political parties to recognize this, and the other is still stuck functioning at about 33% efficiency, and are left with having to lie to the public nonstop and scam our democracy to not have to do the work for 100% of our nation.
Then hopefully we can as a species can get past the nationality/religious/whatever hangups we have and act responsible for our small part on this melting ice-ball surrounding a molten core of nickel, caught up in the wake of a giant exploding ball of metal that is hurdling through space.
