BTW I have nothing but love to you all in the down under.
We will get through this weird time in human history, and all be better off when we do.
Australia is a lot like Canada only the weather is better and the misogyny more prevalent.![]()
Right, and I still call bullshit. Re-read my post, that is just propaganda being pushed man, one supreme court judge is not going to strip women rights away. It will just make it harder for the government to fund women's health clinics.Royalty is not what the threads about.
Its about women having less rights over their own body than women in Saudi Arabia. You (Americans) are becoming like Saudi Arabia.
I just hope all these newly appointed Supreme Court judges + senators uphold the law and constitution. Not spit in it's face to serve some nefarious plan or ideal.
The anxiety up in here until November 3rd and through to January is very real. People are stressed about it.
Won't piss in USA's pocket and show my sympathy. Only say that a very small part of myself can understand what others might be feeling as well.
I'm out of here for good. It is none of my business to state my own opinions any further. We have enough to worry about ourselves.

You should not listen to the propaganda boss.
We are not just allowing women the right to drive.
You are just trolling America.
Be best.

I get it, and don't blame people not from America hating on us. It is just the flip of how pretty much everyone loves an underdog.
And it gets hard to not see everything as some kind of competition when it is not.
I can see why they ended up with Trump.I would have thought the clue was in the title?!?
Its in the first post...by the OPBecause you said so?
I think you bought into the propaganda about our nation that is also being used to polarize the evangelical community and people against them.
You ever look into that Russian attack on your nation I posted for you?
be a win for the western world and for women everywhere. You know how much influence Trump / USA has on our own nation and the world? I don't imagine anyone has had the chance to tell lately, and rightly so. Who has had the time, seriously?
But fark if you don't believe Trump winning will have / has had a direct influence on Government and minorities here, then you're being naive.
I'm hoping for a change of government. Would hope others are too.
Because another 4 years of Trump and another term of the Morrison / Liberal government, is not what I believe anyone needs right now, or ever.
So with that said. I'm going to cross my fingers and toes Trump loses and be sure to vote next election.
I think a Democrat win, is a win for Australia too. Not just USA.
Australians dont hate Americans, Its weird that even on Facebook etc Americans are always saying how other countries hate them. Thats not true. Most people like Americans they just dislike a lot of their Nations policies. Often the same things that Americans hate. Ive got on and liked every American ive met. The American Club in Sydney used to go off on your big national days.View attachment 4715986

It might be that my view of the word 'haters' is pretty watered down. We use it a lot over here. Desensitized to the word.Hate is a very strong word hanimmal. It's spiteful.
I get it though, one country's own politics shouldn't matter to another. Very unfortunate when it does.
All the best.
Yeah you guys are right, it is a weird cultural/language difference here in the states I think. We are all programmed to use snowflake language.Australians dont hate Americans, Its weird that even on Facebook etc Americans are always saying how other countries hate them. Thats not true. To be fair the few placers that chant Death to America, America hasn't been very nice to..It's also part of the reasons so many Americans freak when we hear 'death to America'. From what I was told it is basically like us saying weirdly religious things like 'bless you' every time someone sneezes.
Fair enough, I get it. Half my people only survived America because they made it far enough south to not be genocided. To be fair the few placers that chant Death to America, America hasn't been very nice to..
And I thought I was the troll."The US has today signed an anti-abortion declaration with a group of about 30 largely illiberal or authoritarian governments, after the failure of an effort to expand the conservative coalition.
The “Geneva Consensus Declaration” calls on states to promote women’s rights and health – but without access to abortion – and is part of a campaign by Trump administration, led by secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, to reorient US foreign policy in a more socially conservative direction, even at the expense of alienating traditional western allies.
The “core supporters” of the declaration are Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia and Uganda, and the 27 other signatories include Belarus (where security forces are currently trying to suppress a women-led protest movement), Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Sudan, South Sudan, Libya."
So let's list those countries out once again, you know just to be clear who your mates are:
USA
Belarus
Brazil
Egypt
Hungary
Indonesia
Uganda
Saudi Arabia (of course)
Bahrain
United Arab Emitares
Iraq
Sudan
South Sudan
Libya
You all must be so proud!
