Team USA will need to step up a gear saturday,Ghana looked sharp today and deadly.Much preferable to Germany , itll be interesting to read some of the UK media releases now.Abandon ship lads..here come the Germans..lol

i am enjoying this soccer business. i don't really know all the rules but it's fun to watch and easy for me to follow. i think it would be nice for the united states to get into this sport a bit more. we're kind of fat and soccer is some physical stuff. but can someone please explain one thing? what the hell is that noise in the background of all the games that sounds like the buzzing of ten trillion bees? omg it makes it hard to watch. wtf is that? are people in the stands using some kind of noise maker? that sound is wretched.

The noise is some type of cheap horn called a vuvuzela , thousands of them blowing at one time.

so did i just hear them correctly? no more "ties" allowed. if after 90 minutes the score is tied they will add an additional 30 mins. if after the 30 mins there is no winner then they will go to a "shoot-out". if no one wins that then they go to "sudden death".

adds a little flavor.

No real panic , USA has conceded early goals in every match and came back , your right though , Howard gets caught off his line too easily.Good goal by Ghana.

It would have been easier to score than miss that one Finley missed , that could come back to haunt USA.




Did anyone catch a glimpse of Clinton there at half time ? lol he looks seriously hungover
