its always about genetics!!!!!! very nice mexican sativa havent seen purple hairs in a grip. mexico has exotic ass geans from all over the world. you can find phenos from afghanistan, thailand, columbia, costa rica, dutch, ect. they import seeds from all over the world. and it combines into the great landrace sativas they got and becomes a melting pot of yumminess. they just grow like 50k plus plants per plot and who wants to pull 25k plus males???? i wouldnt. then they harvest too early and dry it in some mexicans hot humid shed then press it with a hydrolic press into bricks for easier transport were it may sit in some mexicans tire for 2 years....... and not to mention all the shit the dealers put in it like ammonia, windex ext. to make it weigh more.
bottom line is mexican bud can be great. though i wont argue that most of it that makes it up north isnt.
