Useful, Bag of Oranges

Looking for grow info on this strain. I see Useful seeds is on this site. Info from them would be great. I am like others searching for the 1 great orange strain LOL.

Personal grow impressions would also be great. Not everyone can grow as well most the breeder's. (Some can grow better) How the plants did for the common man is very helpful. I have grown a few of the orange strains. How orange came out was different in each. So I am not so much worried about the smell or flavor. I am going to have to see that for myself.

I am more concerned with the quality/type of high and potency. I figure I can get it grown. As long as it is not to difficult. The main thing I am concern about. IS IT WORTH GROWING. I have lots of quality genetics just waiting to be grown.

Kind of wondering if Bag of Oranges is is good enough to stay with this line up. Lots of great genetics in this run. Here is what else is going to be started.

Holy Grail Kush, DNA
Ghost Train Haze, Rare Dankness
Super Silver Haze, Mr Nice
The New, HSO

Like I mentioned genetics are pretty strong this run. Can anyone tell me if Bag of Oranges can keep up?

I have two good orange tasting buds i smoked recently. They were from different breeders(edit) I thought I'd share although I have no experience growing their genetics. The bud is phenominal though.. very orangy

Both those are Tangie Hybrids so I am not surprised that you liked them. Tangie is a damn good strain full of trichomes. I didn't like the flavor of it but the high makes it worth smoking anyway. I really liked Tangilope one of its offspring. I have 2 Tangilope hybrids I made myself going right now. I will look into those strains thank you.

I ran his orange cookies x chocolate diesel and got a super orange peel smelling/tasting pheno with huge yield and strong potency. Haven't ran bag of oranges yet but I'm sure it will be as good as those others.

bro we saw your question in the useful thread, nobody ansered you because you were being lazy. Read through that thread, go back like 100 pages and start there, BOO is still pretty new on the scene. Pretty much all info about it has been documented there. I am currently growing it, very nice so far. I also have OCxCD and it is wonderful, potent as fuck.

I figured I would check in. Still to lazy or have to many things to do to look up info all day. Plants are doing great. I just dropped back the light so I will see soon what is there. One plant is truly impressive. What the weed is like to smoke will be the big indicator. I would love to see some nice oranges smells and flavors for sure. As long as the weed doesn't suck it should be a success.

I got these because they were a S-1 of a impressive plant. From what I have found so far. S-1 genetics tend to get around 50% of the offspring like mom. Then there is some variance with the others. I have even seen a S-1 that was a total fail when none of the offspring were anything like the mother. They all equally sucked lol. That was some weird ass shit. They were made by the same guy that breeds lots of my genetics so I know he knows what he is doing. Lots of my feminized seeds come from his S-1's. I still have a whole bag of those useless ass seeds. The guy that made them has a whole jar LMAO. Huge plants but really low THC.

Well as I figured I managed to Get BOO grown. Nice plants! They really were now problem at all. I had to trim a few leaves to open it up some. All three are pretty much the same. All are starting to get some color to them. Smell is straight up Tangie. One seems to have more of a natural orange smell than the others. Here are a couple pics.

I did find more BOO info around page 104. By the time I got to it I had already realized this is a pretty easy strain to grow. It did want some Cal/Mag a couple weeks into flower. Thanks for the help though.

If I could tell him anything. It would be that I a nearly convinced. The strong Tangie smell has went away on most plants. One has a real nice "real" orange smell. Totally different then Tangie. It is still early to know just what then end product will be like. This plant is headed in the right direction now though. The terpene levels are already high so I am sure smell is going to be strong what ever it ends up as. Because of that I expect flavor will follow.

This may just be the orange strain I have been looking for for years.

I don't know why you'd expect him to post here. He has a running thread already that he responds to often. Just post this grow report in there with all your comments, you'll get plenty of replies. Creating a new thread for each specific strain from a seed company is cluttering up the forums.

Yea bro go check his thread out post there. He can def help you out with any info need and he has assured me this is a real good orange cross so def like the sound of it being the orange you been looking for

He’s not too busy to check into the main Useful thread. He’s actually there quite regularly. But it’s not really surprising that he doesn’t search the forum to see if anyone else is creating new threads based on his work.

Even if you don’t want to read the whole thread (highly recommended) you can still search the thread for “bag of oranges” and/or “BOO“ and cherry pick what you want to read. The beauty of forums is that information doesn’t disappear over time and it’s easily searchable—even for the lazy.

I finally found it searching for Useful Genetics. I still had to look through lots of other random stuff to find it but it was there. Shows he is still around.

Indeed, I used the search function set to titles "useful" and its definitely not there. Weird!

I personally suspect the Russians migrated out of the politics thread and did it .He has been making some real bold/exciting moves for the future .

1st the maple tree and now our communication life line . Is nothing sacred anymore ! Clearly some evil doings are a foot .

Holy crap, that politics section is no joke! I could not believe the crazy stuff people say and do there. Totally off the hinges. Reading that made me feel like I need to quit smoking and growing. Literally felt dirty... Today was my first and last time looking in there.
