If you grow in a tent put a large oscillating fan outside of it and have it blow directly on the tent from 4 to 6 feet away. Set the oscillation so it blows back and forth across the tent. This does not replace ventilation or scent control but my plants really like it :bigjoint:

so let me get this strainght. you fully close your tent, place a fan 4-6' outside the tent and have the fan bow on a closed tent? what in the world would that do besides blow your tent and make it move a little bit? your plants are net getting any of the air movement.

unless im reading what you posted wrong.

i think he means with the tent open..how could it work if it was closed..i do the same thing he's on about in my loft ..its not a tent tho just a room I built up there..works well...i don't leave my fan isolate tho..i leave it on the lowest setting and point it towards the bulb...keeps the plants nice and cool in the summer...and circulates a lot of fresh air around the plants..happy growing

Even with the tent closed the fan helps cool the tent. Heat is often a problem with grow tents and the fan helps.

Are there people still on this website with a brain? Really a fucking fan helps remove heat from the outside of a tent. Sort of like..I don't know.. a house in winter? If this concept is too difficult then growing is far beyond the people reading this

^ he's got a point. (the heat exchanger concept)

Kinda like how when a heatsink heats up, flowing air across it "wicks" the heat away... but now you have warm air that needs to go somewhere! Although i suppose dispersing such a small amount of warm air over such a large area (or volume), probably dissipates the heat pretty quickly...
