Using a 125 watt CFL along with 400 watt Metal Halides???

Hey guys.

Im growing in a BCNL Producer. I've posted some pictures so you can get an idea of my plants and grow space. You can also check out my journal by clicking the link in my signature.

My question is, should I add my 125 watt CFL to my two 400 watt metal halides for the veg? The plants are 18 days old from seed.

Ok, one more bump. I couldn't find any info on this online or through the search, maybe I didn't look hard enough. Thinking this might be helpful to others in the future...

I would add it maybe put it so it hits the lower growth of the plants as they mature instead of mounting it above

Well, the way the Producer box is designed, the mh lights come from a seperate chamber on the top which is seperated by glass. However, the CFL socket is located inside the actual grow chamber, below the mh lights, but is still going to be coming from above somewhat. These lights are fixed, so I can't adjust the height.

well add it man thats more lumens it will def. help it specialy as they get closer

OK, that's what I was thinking, but I didn't know if it would be excessive or just unnecessary. Doubt it could hurt though.
