Using a co2 diffuser as an airstone?

Anyone know if this is possible/worth it to pump air through them like airstones? I have a friend who has freshwater tanks and he was talking about the bubble size being better to transfer co2 to the water. Sounded similar to the way people praise electrolysis bubbles.

If you search this on Amazon it's basically the same thing he has.
Pollen Glass CO2 Diffuser with U-Shape Connecting Tube for Aquarium Planted Tank (20 - 50 US Gallons)

I'm still too much of a skeptic to give my microbes the electric chair but im very interested in this as it seems to pretty similar to a normal airstone. Even if I have to buy a bigger pump to have enough pressure to keep it running more DO seems like a good trade.

Sorry about breaking the link up, I usually don't post so apparently I need more likes or something.

I buy 6" blue ones at hydro store for $1.80 and throw them away each grow

I did buy those microbubble diffusers for like $18 a piece when I first started growing that put off similar bubbles

Then I realized its not hard to generate enough DO for plants

The micropores would clog easily and I had to clean them between grows and it was just too much hassle then they are worth.

If you want em ill mail em to you $10 for the pair + S/H lol

I have some 8" disks and 4x2 cylinders i was just wondering if these would give me more DO than just the regular airstone. Apparently they give off very small bubbles.

Lol alright good to know I'll just stick with what I've got for now then.

.... you want o2 in the water ...... This is a fools errand to try and get more o2 in the rez your limiting factor is more the rez temp rather then the bubble size, so just use any bubbler that you want but keep your rez cool , that is the key. Hell I got my bubbler set up on a relay so it only fires when the ac is on to reduce heat and acidification of my rez, and make it run way less

Wort chiller with a pid controller, temps and my current DO are working fine. It's just my curse to forever be a tinkerer, I was just wondering if these would give me more DO than a traditional stone.
