Using dry ice

I was wondering if anyone uses dry ice for CO2. I know it’s heavier then air so needs to go in top of grow tent. Just wondering if it’s worth it. I’m in a 32”x32” tent with a Maxsisun MG 3000; 300 true watts. I would only use it for flowering. Thanks

It evaporates too quickly
And co2 is only beneficial in a sealed setting so why not build a tank system if you are sealed
No clue how you could control dry ice

I think co2 is best left to accomplished growers. I'd get co2 monitor first, you might be surprised if the grow is in your house.

An old friend sends my wife and I a Christmas package from Omaha Steaks every year. They come in a styrofoam cooler and has a package of dry ice for temp control.

This year when wife unpacked the shipment she handed me the dry ice and said Chunk it. I put it in the grow tent.

I’d like to say the plants grew like wildfire and produced pounds of buds. But they didn’t.

LOL

But, I did get rid of the dry ice without putting on my shoes and walking out to the trash can, so I’ll call it a win overall.
