i like them alot, i was skeptical at first but they really surprised me and made a fairly big difference compared to the plants in grow bags and plastic pots of the same size.

Hey I was told smart pots weren't good for ebb n flow because they never have a chance to dry, eventually causing root rot issues. Especially when filled with clay balls.

What do you guys think about that?

This grow(my first) I filled my whole flood table with hydroton(clay balls), all 150litres worth!!! What a hassle! Next grow I think I want to try different containers, especially ones that make moving/culling plants easier.

I dont like smart pots... had 10 3 gal in ebb and flow nice container, keeps media in place n not in tray i watered 3-4 times a day never had any rot problems, my biggest beef with them is cleaning. the roots will grow through the fabric at lightening speed. cleaning dead root matter out after harvest was a PITA. had to spray down with hi pressure hose and then throw in washing machine n dryer. never again will i use them...
