So I've been growing for a year now, and I think I'm the point where I have tried so many different things, methods, products... that I can dial in my grow to exactly how I'd like it.

I'm not the most organized individual, but I can try, so hopefully I'm going to use this journal for the next year or so and dial in my grow to be as smooth and efficient as possible...

Area: It still needs improvement but I flower in a 5x3 tent which sits in a closet, and veg under t5

Lights: four bulb t5 (lost a bulb so it's a 3 bulb right now), 400hps for flower with a 250hps if supplementation is needed

Soil: Organic soil mixture (kelp, alfalfa, soft rock phos., high N guano, EWC, dolomite lime)

Stains I have growing now:
RP OG Kush
Headband (sour kush)
Strawberry Cough
Blue Widow
Blackberry
Cataract Kush
and various Bagseed

Seedlings, clones, and a bushy Blue Widow in the back :D

I have nothing flowering atm, but I have the bigger plants in the tent that getting ready to switch very soon... I have both a Strawberry Cough (SBC) and a Blackberry Sativa (BBS) that are around 6 weeks old, and four week old Cat. Kush. I'll add pics of them later on.

Comments are welcome, and solid advice is greatly appreciated! :blsmoke:

These girls are about six-seven weeks old and have been grown in a vegan-amendment only mix... I'm still figuring out what vegan mix will work for me best, but I was a little short in P with these two.

I transplanted them two days ago into 3gal containers, and they have since exploded. I think this new mix I placed them in is much richer, so the should be healthy and vigorous when I switch to 12/12.

Both are tided down to promote branching, I really only LST, and don't particularly like to top my plants.

This is the BBS, she is easily the most finicky plant I've grown, hopefully she doesn't let me down.

Looking good! +rep

Pretty much opposite of what I'm doing so it's new and interesting to me yet.

I saw one of your finished girls in another thread and it looked absolutely beautiful.

Thanks 420, right back at ya!

Haha yeah it is pretty much the opposite, but I think that's why I find your grow interesting as well :D

Yeah, that other little girl is super tasty, definitely one of the most tasty girls I've grown.

Pics will be coming in spurts I guess...

This is the SBC, she's ready to take more clones off her. I'll probably get four more before I switch, and maybe some more after that..

I'm going to germ a couple more seeds soon, I thinking the Vanilla Kush for sure, and I don't know which other... I'm caught between going with another indica or adding a sativa.

Any thoughts? She wilts every night, and I don't know why. temps are 80-85, I water her when she needs it... Idk what it is, maybe it's strain specific?

At least she's a female! I have a tendency to veg until they show preflowers, it makes a lot more sense to me that for many reasons...

I dont know why she is wilting my cat kush was always nice and perky very stocky plant. But the yeild was very very low. They were right when they said you need a long veg to have a decent yeild. Most i got from it was 1/2 zip which is bad if you ask me.

Damn I don't know it's weird... She usually gets like that towards the end of the day and in the am she's nice and perky. How big was yours? She doesn't stretch much, right? I'm sure that 1/2oz is some fucking dank nonetheless.

Mine did not stretch at all buds were really hard and Yes dank but not my favorite.High creeps on you and puts you to bed.Mines kind of tasted like pepper same with the connie chong i grew a while back thats why im thinking it ws la con dominant..

This is some hydro I grew, I've had a couple rounds with waterfarms, but hydroponics is boring for me, and I really just don't enjoy it very much.

True, that's good, I'll veg mine for a couple more weeks... Awesome to hear that it puts you to sleep, I kinda got it for that, and my damn arthritis.
Chonnie Chung and LA Conf. are two that I want to grow as well haha

Connie chong was good but you can have phenos that vary flowering time 10 weeks should be a good harvest. It does grow tall as well like a sativa,
The la always wanted to try it but never bought it.HOnestly my next dna strain has to be chocolope and maybe recon or cannadential.
If you got the cat kush to put you to sleep then it will.! minute you are watching a show next minute it hits you and you just want to ly back.

Pretty nice buds there.I was thinking of throwing a dwc in the mix with my soil grows but i think it will be pointless.Im just getting tired of all this dirt buying then getting rid of it..lmao

Nice man, glad I've got some good medicine coming... For sure man, chocholope is definitely an interesting strain, I bet cannadential is great.

Honestly, hydro is a lot easier, much less work... and less of a mess. But it's not for me, the organic nugs are by far better, even though the dro is still good. The growth rate is crazy man, once you get past 3-4 node the plant explodes!
