For a novice grower, the amount of information available can be confusing. However, for more dedicated researchers, in that ton of information you may find the answer to your problems. If the researcher has any background in the subject, better still. Unfortunately, or fortunately (capitalism reigns), there is the market. And the market is the jungle, and in the jungle wild things happen.
There is certainly distorted information from manufacturers who simply want to make money. And we see, an absurd amount of people who get carried away by advertising, without evaluating what they are really buying. I'm a physics teacher, and I obviously believe in science. Even so, the science itself can be corrupted by spurious interests, of companies, governments and etc ...
Still, I'd rather believe in science. If it was not, when I became ill or in pain, I would go to a magician and not a doctor. I believe that man has stepped on the moon, and also that the earth is round!
And over the candles ... they certainly are better in all of the leds ... except for a few BTUs ...
