very nice i like the chambers, how much they cost you to make? and how big is that container.

Nice!!, I wasn't comfortable building my own so I bought one, curious how much that cost ya to build since I got my 3gal for 140

if i add all the driving, time making phone calls, time researching online, buying tools, its a bit of initial investment. as far as materials go it can be made anywhere from 50-80 bucks, depending on what you use and where you get stuff from and if you cheap out on something along the way.

mine is a 6 qt container. 9" tall 7 1/4" wide. perfect for personal sized batches of BHO.
I currently have 2 built, sitting on my garage table. PM me if anyone is interested.

hes a pic of it next to a 12oz aluminum can.

props for sure man, that is a solid looking chamber, i paid 150 for mine its a 3 gal but yours looks alot more solid, and i dig the quick release.

nice chamber mang, you dont need much.. i like your quick disconnect as well..

here is my chamber. as it is, it cost:

1/20th of a 12 dollar yoga mat roll = $0.60

1/2inch in acrylic lid = $7

pyrex dish = $10

gauge from deceased big ass vac it pro. happy i aint trying to vac 3 gallon + solvents anymore. ~ $20?

the yoga mat was just a quick idea, i went and picked up some 1/8th inch rubber gasket making material.. hope to make a few more of these. :]

so, approx cost = $37.60

forgot to mention, i got a quick disconnect as well.. i wrapped my barbed fitting with painters tape, i can slide my hose right on and off, enough seal to get me to 29.5 and lock it :]

stop sending them shitty vac chamber makers our good money :]

i can make a just as shitty one for fraction of the price.. :]

The place I found is 20 minutes from me, a 8x8 piece cost me $10.50. Try eBay. Or as a last resort, go down to Lowe's and get 4- 1/8" pieces of lexan, drill em and bolt them together.

i picked up my tiny lids from TAP plastics in san jose, scrap bin :]

only cheap ass place ive found.. pretty expensive to buy new.. salvaging seems like the way to to..

This is whats currently getting used. the heating pad on the bottom is usually wrapped around the side and there is a hot plate underneath. this has helped keep steady temperatures throughout the chamber so there is no big temperature fluctuations.

We buy remnants from Multi Craft Plastics in Tigard. A larger shop that Tap here locally and lots more scrap at $2/lb.

Okay mr fade. Travel to Oregon to get your $2/lb plastic. wear a heavy jacket for the rain.. and Hit up a food truck while out there.
