Vaibility of Frozen Seeds

Was reading up on marijuana species and morphological variations (Prof. Starks). It may be possible for a frozen seed to stay dormant. ie. certain lotus seeds can germinate after 2,000 years. We need to send a strain collector to the arctic to look for a needle in a haystack. There must be marijuana seeds frozen in the arctic for thousands of years. Imagine germinating these to take a look at some truly wild ancestral hemp. Id call the strain Caveman. The Svalbard Global Seed Vault and there seed storing techniques also comes to mind. HMMMMM. "All i wanna know is, Who's coming with me. Who's coming with me man!!!"

Happy hunting but you might have better luck looking in glaciers throughout the Himalayas and Alps or elsewhere in Eurasia.

Good shit. Ya never know. Something like that could happen sooner than later. Pot is gaining popularity, this time i dont mind anyone jumping on the bandwagon.
@thinn thanks for the history lesson.
