Vape Cartridges, black market or legit

I've got these two carts I picked up, just wondering if anyone else has seen these. One brand is Peace Frog the other is Ace of Spades.

I'm not having any issues and have been getting carts w these brand names for a little over a year now.

I did get a Mario Kart purple punch from somebody else, I ended up not finishing it cuz it got dark and harsh at thecend, and then i later found out that those are for sure Black Market.

Kind of thinking that if it's not in a child proof sealed package it's probably black market. But whether or not I'm vaping crap or not I don't know.

Anybody got any advice on these carts or Brands to stay away from? I've got till January 1st before I can go to a dispensary here in Illinois. And probably more like a year from right now before I can go to one without a line

If it’s not from a dispensary you have no way of knowing what’s in it.. unless you know who made it. Anything on the black market is not from a dispensary. If you have a lab nearby you could get it tested

Wtf does a screew in mouthpiece vs a press fit have any bearing on a legit vs fake cart? You have ZERO fn clue what your talking about.

1st of all, a cart that turns black is from a crappy knockoff cart, and or neem was used as a foliar and was still left in the dirty extract.

Most packaging can and still is bought from china. Dank, mario, brass, etc can all be faked.

Shit, 2 months ago, 18 carts were bought from a dispensary. 10 of 18 carts ALL tested positive for vitamine E acetate. Yup, the same additive that's sending users to the er.

Ya kinda what i was thinkin . I can look at the online menu at dispensaries around here and they picture the same kind of carts I run into. Just not the packaging.

Why the fuck would people use Vitamin E!?! Someone needs to be tossed off a bridge with some cement boots

Because there are real shitty fn people in this world who make a product to thicken up a bullshit product for you to smoke.

And if you have done your homework over the past 3 weeks, you would have noticed all 3 companies removed said products from their web stores, OR reworded it to say its NOT meant for vaping, but SOLD along their vape products.

So heres a big FU to you scamming ass companies. If it's an honest error, ok, but dont come back, delete posts, and reword shot to save face.

Better check those bottles of stuff you have. Chances are, if it's a thickener, its vitamins e acetate!

There are ONLY 3 items needed to make a quality and safe vape cart.
1 a lead free vape cart
2 clean distillate
3 terpenes

That's it, nothing more.

even from a dispensary you don't know. Maybe it was made with moldy weed, maybe it has pesticides or pests. Make your own it's easy.

I use polyethylene glycol food grade instead of terpenes. Distillate works, bho works, qwiso works. Refillable carts cost me 6$. Stopped using them because they got me too high. Maybe because cbd and terpenes were out of balance.

I've tried unsuccessfully to make them a couple times. Qwiso didnt work for me, didn't like butane, but I had good success with Everclear. But Everclear is spendy, so before I do it again I plan to buy a still so I can reclaim my Everclear.

I have food grade propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin here at the house because I used to make my own e-cig vape juice.

Tried using some wax liquidizer and it didn't work very well, everything seemed to separate later on.

Learned that decarbing is key as well.

But the few homemade carts I tried to make none of them seem to work well. They either got clogged up or just such a junk they wouldn't keep working. Or my concentrate was garbage and still had a lot of impurities in it. Which I think is part of or the whole cause of failure. All my cartridge attempts were done with either BHO or qwiso.

Next time I'm going to do the Everclear method again, that stuff was like hard candy and burn super clean in my dab pen.

Could be a different type of peg. There are different weight/thickness polyethylene glycols so maybe look into that.

Fwiw my bho and qwiso always ends up looking like shatter.. Maybe it still had solvent in it.

Also wanted to post this. Found it when checking the vapourization temp of peg. From the national institute of health:

CONCLUSIONS: PG and PEG 400 produced high levels of acetaldehyde and formaldehyde when heated to 230°C. Formaldehyde production from PEG 400 isolate was particularly high, with one inhalation accounting for 1.12% of the daily exposure limit, nearly the same exposure as smoking one cigarette.

The news media I see and hear about this is very misleading. Almost seems intentional.
Another death in the news this morning and they still say no cause or link has been found. Which is how every news story I hear on this subject ends. I've always thought big tobacco was behind it all but that's just my conspiracy theory. The dump kids blowing up their batteries wasn't enough to do it, so this whole thing has been god sent for rj Reynolds and Philip Morris.
No links no cause no idea according to them. States are going make it illegal all of the sudden, but like 50 million people vape and have been for over 15 years without problems. But they say it's still a mystery so better just make it illegal.

Personally I think it's about vaping THC. They can't smell it, they can't tell the difference between me vaping cannabis or vaping tobacco. They have no probable cause to search or arrest me if I'm vaping something with no smell.

If they ban all ecigs. Then anyone left vaping must be THC
