Now IMO this is not mis-leading:

And yet this is the picture at the beginning of that very same article:

^^^^^that is not some dude vaping THC.
There can be misleading (or at least confusing) stuff in there if you don't understand what they're talking about.
I quit nicotine vapes and went to gum because pure nicotine would kill you.
So what exactly is the majority of the substance in nic vapes?
The nicotine is just a tiny portion of what's in there.
And I don't like the term 'illegal' vapes either.
I have seen legally produced carts that came out of a dispensary that can't possibly be pure distillate.
They had those old cheap wicks in the carts and I'm pretty sure you'd have to cut the distillate to get it through the wick.
Ccells and most Ccell knock offs can handle the thicker distillate, no need to cut to thin it.
So, the point is just because it came out of a legal dispensary doesn't make it pure distillate or safe.
And pure terp flavors aren't the problem either. Unless it's a terp flavored PEG product.
There's a lot of underground ops that produce quality distillate.
There's a lot of legal ops that absolutely . do not. A lot of these vape illnesses came from legally sold dispensary carts.
Everybody is on a learning curve here, but I still believe pure distillate with a 3% pure terp cut is reasonably safe.
Too much of anything isn't good. So I'm not advocating sitting on a couch all day hitting distillate any more than pounding vodka all day.
A pure product and some common sense usually works fine.
If you don't trust it, don't buy it.
I wouldn't trust anything out of a dispensary unless I know someone who works for the supplier of the dispensary who can describe the op.
A buddy of mine's wife works in a cannabis production place 30 miles up the road. People got in trouble there for stealing packaging.
What do you think they were going to do with it? Lol.
Assholes!
