Vaping around your plants?

Hey all, I used to smoke cigarettes and have moved over to a vape. I'm currently smoking blends with no nicotine, on a borrowed vape. I never smoked tobacco or really even bud around my plants. I've operated solely under the impression that stoma health is of upmost importance. Kinda a gear head.. If your carb and filter is dirty, or not functioning 100%, your engine isn't at optimal output.
Let's try to break down the science between smoke's vocs and particulates, and vape's vocs andd particulates. In laymen's terms 'can I vape around my plant?'

I would even like to delve into the idea of the effects of nicotine on a plant. I would assume because these plants have evolved in absence of nicotine, then introducing it would be detrimental. To the system.Yeah Baconaters are great, but if you have never had one your going to shit different than you ever have before.

I tried to play devils advocate for Baconaters and had to delete a full paragraph... Went way off the rails

I've been smoke free for some time also, however i do vape pretty hardcore to the point of a vaped out house lol my intakes suck that shit in all the time. Im sure it cant be too great for plants but its gotta be better then ciggs. Whats funny though, is gnats will fucking split if the area gets vaped out with nicotine.

Whats the carrier you are using PG? what happens when it is heated to 300+F, does combustion occur...carriers are the main reason I stay away from vape pens and I can't imagine stomata's like PG residue if it in fact exists as airborne particulate....

Probably not a big deal as you are most likely in Parts per Billion with certain molecules...depending on airflow and other shite :peace:

Interesting side effect, brings up the idea of vaping mj compared to nicotine. I made an aloe foliar spray with hash residue in the magic bullet. I saw it congregating on the surface but sprayed anyways, thc on thc..ok!

I have no idea the specs on the unit or the fluid I'm working with, more of a quandary than anything. That opens a whole other realm of reality, makes the question even more ambiguous than I had imagined. I try not to bring any foreign substances into the room, I'll fart in bed instead.

What brought this all about was I did some air flow testing. I've always used a lighter's flame to test direction and velocity qualitatively. In an open room it's not ideal, so I improvised. One vape cloud later I could track the progress of my climate control. From unit, to canopy, to fan, to light, to exhaust. Twenty tinkers later I thought what the hell am I doing to my ladies!?

18 months without a cig. I vape all day long (weed and normal ejuice) in my office which is where my veg cab and flower tent are. I never smoked cigs in there when I did smoke.

I see no impact on my plants from being in a vape heavy environment. Nic content has gone from juices at 18 mg/ml to 1.5.

Nearly all commercial juices are a mix of PG and VG. It is just the ratio that changes. Very few all PG anymore. Lots of all VG but those are for drippers, not tanks, unless someone is really into the subohm stuff out there now.

combustion of near anything is bad for your plants. ethylene etc. used in ancient times

however the contents of a cig arent necessarily bad. ive grown weed in an ashtray, not full term but just for fun on my porch. the tobacco seems to not have a noticeable effect on the plant unlike lots of weed smoke or something

vg isn't the best for you, acrolein.. other than that im not too sure what effect pg and vg would have on the plant

spraying hash oil on your olants as you said you did is bad.. it will induce apoptosis and destroy plant tissue thca and cbga cause 100% cell death in 10 day old suspension cultured cannabis sativa cells at 50um(through apoptosis). The cannabinoid precursors do not have this effect and some can be found in leaf material..
