Just because I enjoy growing.
Because plants are cool guys not just weed. jeez, besides i ca give clones to everyone for free and graft a bunch of variates by summer on to the mothers.
I dont give a fuck about harvest. i just want some shade to read a book under. I already have cherries, pluots, peaches, beach plums and persimmons I planted from seed about 10 years ago. now im aloud to grow chronic.

Not excited about growing 'trees' because I actually own TREES. Like oaks that you can't wrap your arms around because they're several hundred years old, and pines that are a couple hundred feet tall. I also grow fruit and vegetables and have plenty of ornamentals

To each their own mate "we all fuck funny to somebody"100 years ago my property was still uninhabitable marshland. I have over the last 10 years also been HST, LST, weighted and manipulating every-way possible- a few cool trees. Its crazy they are so old but the torcher ; i meant training has kept them small.
1 silver maple contorted and braided kept at 2'
-two pin oaks that into spirals that will touch as an arch way this year( hopefully)
-6 mullberrys braided together . it was 7 but one died

I have ancient oaks and pines also, along with poplars, maple, walnut and a bunch of others but I still enjoy gigantic cannabis! Just have to be practical in my situation.

day 66 and 36 (plant5 &E) for the plants being grown for April.
5 is White Russian and E is Caesar

My plan is to turn the supplemental lighting off on July 4th.when there is 15 hours of sunlight decreasing everyday from that point. 17 hours of direct light to >15 hours naturally reducing.
At this schedule what do you think will happen?

Continue to grow vegetative until the light cycle is closer to 12/12.
Trigger early flowering uninterrupted until maturity.
Trigger early flowering but re-veg before going back to flower later in the season.

I’ve done this twice. Vegged some 4-5ft plants. Put them out in late spring.
They get fucked. My weather conditions are rugged. I can run autos outside. First of June to early September. And you better watch the weather.
The only two months (June and July) I haven’t seen frost over the years.

Lol.

To increase plants chances of survival after being placed outside, i would shade it with a sun screen until it adapts. Its a fine mesh screen you shade your plants with like an awning above them, typically cutting the light 25-50%.

For sure! thanks for the suggestion. My plan is to put the entire tent they are growing in outside in April in a protected location. That will help me acclimate them to the outdoor conditions like temps and humidity.
During the day the plants will go under my 12' deck (shaded southern exposer) except for a small amount of increasing time where they will receive various amounts of filtered light.At night back in the tent to keep them at 17 hours of light. Until they gradually acclimate to full sun before going out on their own.
Besides the normal acclimation process I bought one of these this year that will house the plants and waterproof lights during their continued outdoor veg season/ until they flex and bust out.

Why not keep them inside in the tent until your location has sufficient sunlight to keep them in veg?

Plus it'll keep you from ruining a tent if you keep it inside.

I am doing that.
It would be easier on my back than moving plants in and outside to acclimate to sunlight. But keeping the tent in a protected area where it will not be ruined will also help them adjust to temps and humidity.

Don't move the plants, create a makeshift covering if you have to. It'd be a lot easier than all the ideas you have created.

If there is sufficient sunlight to keep them in veg you don't need supplemental lighting.

I know I dont need it i dont need to do any of this.. I don't need to veg for 16 weeks before going outside either...
i dont need to even go out side or grow weed. I get tax free grade A piff for 200 an ounce delivered.

No one is telling you not to do anything...you posted asking for help/comments.

If you are vegging for 4 months you should have plants that are unmanageable for a tent. Or you would have to purposely keep them smaller, and if that's the case why even bother vegging for 4 months?
