Veg flower veg flower

Started these with the intention of putting them inside. Decided I couldn't be bothered with it so I stuck them outside (probably a bit too early in the season) and thought if they survive they survive. One died from being snapped at the base another went a bit yellow but it pushed through with a bit of fertilizer. After a few weeks it started to flower and produced some pretty weird looking buds but the smell was amazing. These buds started to die off and new growth began. They're now 4 months old and starting to flower again. Surprisingly they look really good and healthy. Some leaves are twisted and the fan leaves only have a max of five leaves, no 7 or 9s. Pretty stoked I put them outside now. I'll upload more photos as I've hit my max upload.

Look great...

I was wondering why they went to flower, cheers. They are absolutely kicking arse now though. Pictures a bit shit.

Most cannabis flowers in response to "the right amount" of a continuous dark period for that particular plant.

It's not uncommon when plants vegging under artificial light inside are placed in fewer hours of natural light outside that they start flowering when first brought outside.

They do this because they are "measuring" more dark time and that's the signal they use to begin flowering. Then as the daylight increases and the hours of dark decrease they usually go back into veg. (quickly if you're lucky)

This can affect your yield and generally be a pain in the ass, since valuable veg time outdoors is wasted on the plant having to reset from flowering mode back to veg etc.

You might want to read up a bit on how to prevent this by tuning your indoor veg time to the outdoor light schedules in your latitude. Autoflowers of course are a different animal.
Good luck.
