Isn't Everclear usually 190 proof?
I use everything, this is actually my preferred way to do it. I winterize both the ethanol and the whatever I use [leaves, trimmings, stems] for at least 4 hours, overnight is better.
I have progressively been going to this recipe I guess you could say:
Pour in ethanol and cap
Shake for about 1 minute.
Let rest up to 5 minutes, then drain.
Put water in a steel pan [I use a counter-top "hot pot'] and then a glass pan. I stack jar lids inside to keep the bottom of the glass pan off the bottom of the hot pot. The glass pan is still below the level of 200-250F water.
I set the hot pot to about 200 degrees and also use a large fan. I watch it until evaporates. Then take it out and scrape, it is usually black oil but after being scraped and put in the fridge it usually takes on hash like consistency....best way to make dank oil from scraps, essentially RSO...

I just made a 2 gram batch from fresh harvested stems and a batch that already was ran once..[2nd batches give you more blond looking hash or oil]
Only used about 4-6 oz of ethanol too....wasn't that much really.
