Veg nutes, flower nutes, transition period?

Hello there,

When would one recommend changing from veg nutes (5-3-7 Canna aqua A+B) to flowering (3-4-10 Canna aqua A+B) nutes?

I was thinking of keeping them on veg until week 2ish of flower, to keep the foliage healthy during the rapid growth/stretch phase.

Would a half dose veg and a half dose flower (4-3.5-8.5) be a good idea for the 2nd week? The problem being the micro values differ between both mixes.

Basically, would this be a good idea:

Week 1 Flower: 5-3-7
Week 2 Flower 4-3.5-8.5
Week 3 Flower (transition over): 3-4-10

Gradual decrease in Nitrogen (without eliminating it) with a gradual increase in Phosphorus and Potassium.

If those foods are complete and they maintain green, healthy leaves, then that's all that matters. When you apply this and that is pretty much immaterial. Vendors like to hype it up that way so you'll get more confused and buy more of their stuff.

Good luck,

Thank you for the input, I wasn't sure whether or not it was worth complicating my life with such small changes.

They seem complete in terms of macro/micro, so I'll just go with week 1 veg, week 2 veg, week 3 bloom.
