ok so i have a grow room with a big ac in it that stays around 77 degrees
inside that flower room is my veg room
i have a inline fan that blows the cool air from the flower room to the veg room
i also have a 450 cfm blower sucking air from the two 400w lights i have in the veg room
my question is if i turn the blower around and blow the air through the lights instead of sucking will that make the room lower temp wise? is it better to blow than suck? lol without being funny lol

Blowing air across the lights is always better as sucking creates a negative pressure. If it does decrease temps it wont be by much. If your not drawing cool air through your hoods/cool tubes then the air your blowing across them is the air that's in the grow room. You need to intake cool air from outside the veg room blowing across the hoods and then exhausted out the veg room. 80 in veg is not that bad long as humidity is fine. What size intake fan do you have bring air in?

You may need a stronger fan bringing air in too but I say your fine just get the fan blowing air across the lights drawing cool air from outside veg room then exhaust back out. Get a couple fans for inside too. Hope you get it to where you wanna be. I'm fighting same problems but I'm vegging and flowering in a closet and I need to get some more ducting to draw air from outside the closet to be blown across my 1000w MH/HPS and a couple fans. I've been lazy and haven't had time but I'll get it before I go into flower. Peace

Get a recirc fan Hurricane has a small footprint to keep the plants happy

My lights on temps are mid 90s. No problem because of the fan
