lots of variables, longer veg bigger yield is the usual approach. if you are filling a screen of green or LST'ing them can make a difference also, clones packed in tight less veg needed. 1 plant under a good size light, let it get big with a longer veg and allow for more branching and budding sites, height can be an issue.

atleast a month from seed..if ur using clones..then its up to u..but longer veg..more bud sites=more bud!

Let them get at least 12-18 inches, just remember there going to double maybe triple in size, make sure your space & lights can accommodate them.

30-45 days. Or at least 12" of height. You can veg as long as you want though. I'm a fan of fewer plants and more veg. A bunch of small plants is too much work and too much risk IMO. I'd rather have two 8 ounce plants than 16 one ounce plants.

how about 2 x 3 oz plants and 4 x 2 1/2 oz plants ?

I'd rather grow my plants short and fast, and make my room one third smaller because I'm not wasting weeks of time in veg. I understand that some people have plant limits though... :(
Also, a good friend of mine flowers from seed and does quite well. There is alot of new info on this if you dig.
