Veg time?

I've had my plant for about 2 months in 3 days. It isn't even a foot tall. The lower leaves weren't doing very well beause of previous problems I resolved so I clipped the ones that were dying. My question is is it time to put it into flowering? The pic was from the other day before I clipped the leaves.

It really depends on how much you want to get out of the plant. You can flower at any stage but for an optimal crop I'd wait a bit longer. How much light are you using, nutes? also is that a fluoro resting on your pot?

you can flower whenever you want. your plant will double and sometimes even tripple in size in flower stage. so keep in mind how big your grow space is. i would ho a little longer on that plant. +rep me if i helped

Thanks for the help and info guys. Yeah got a fluro resting on my pot is that a bad thing? Just trying to get all around lighting out of rigged up shit lol. Gonna get a tent and what not soon. and no nutes so far. I think she went without water for 2 weeks so I think that's where the stunted growth came from. But I'm not sure if it was completely dry I tried to rig up a wick system. 2 weeks later when I checked she looked pretty dried out but a little water and she started getting better. I also was using tin foil for a while that made way to much heat and burn spots that I had to get rid of.

Sorry I'm using 2 26watt cfl's up close and 1 to far away to do any good I think but I'm using lamps and stuff that I found all around I went to lowes and walmart the other day to see if they had the outlet to bulb conversions pieces and the splitters that I see everyone else using but there was none there. Also using 2 of the fluro's you see in the pic.

If the fluoro is pointing down toward your soil the plant isn't going to benefit from the light, only reason I pointed it out . If it's a space issue then maybe try pointing the light upwards. Your grow space looks pretty large for the amount of light you're using as well. Any reason why you haven't added nutes yet?

I would check your soil ph and if that is OK, I would ease into some nutes. It doesn't look bad, just behind some. Try and check your plant every day and make sure not to over water too, that was my problem when I grew my first plant. Good luck!

Your plant is pretty stunted.......like previously stated before you can put into flowering cycle when you please but you want to make sure your plant is healthy before you transition into flower if not your yield will be diminished by quite a bit....what type of soil mix you using??...giver her nutes and get a ph meter...I recommend some perlite for your soil mix and some vermiculite at a 33% 33% 33% ratio and get that light above the plants.....

Wow thanks for everyones help so much. My fluro isn't pointing downwards I have the part without the light at the soil and the light pointing upwards. Anyways I originally had this planted in a party cup with Ferry Morse seed starting mix. But I transplanted into that bigger pot and used miracle grow organic mix mixed with perilite. I haven't started on Nutes yet but I guess that'll be the next thing on my list. and I picked up a Fertlility/Ph meter for my soil a couple weeks ago. Kk Just checked PH. it's looking like maybe about 6.8 and my plant is looking way better then yesterday. Definately noticeable difference. I'm not sure if it's from cutting off those bad leaves or what. Also I"m not watering to much. About once every other day or whenever the soil drys out.

You need the light above the plant so it can absorb as much as possible...people put lights on the side (not the bottom.. even if it is not pointing downwards) for big bushy plants that are not getting sufficient light under the canopy......What Kalvin temp is your fluorescent bulbs rated???

well the cfl's are 6500 i think and the fluro's were just some "grow lights" from walmart since i couldnt find any light socket to outlet converters i see everyone use or the bulb splitters. and i checked at walmart and lowes :/ this just started as a 6 plant party cup grow. others died except this one so im just tryin to get it by without a lot of money. 400 watt hps/mh should be on the list in about a week or 2
