Veg time

How long should I veg for too get at least oz per plant? I'm gonna have them under cfls to start but then will continue to veg under a 600w hps. I have two tents basically and one doesn't have a light. My plan is too manually move the plants every 12/12 so I wanna be rewarded for my time and effort.

are you starting from seed or clone?

I would veg for atleast 4-6 weeks just to be on the safe side

From seed. I was thinking until all 18 really are fighting for space then put into flower as ill be having only 9 inside the tent at a time and expect them to double in size? Will be a pain after weeks having to wake up in the mornings to move plants so really wanna be rewarded with the yield. How's that sound?
