Hey I recently threw some freebies I got from attitude in 5 gallon buckets . My question is , I veg'd the sour diesel for almost 7 weeks and I'm now 4 weeks into flower but I'm not really seeing any new growth you think I waited too long to flower and the buckets are too full of roots to finish ?

I don't know that I'm gonna be much help however from all my extensive research I've gathered that vegetation is perfectly fine for a loooong time. Think about what a mother plant represents...it's always in vegetation. So with that said I've read one guy had a mother plant for 2 years. To flower we just switched to 12/12 and it takes 8+ weeks some strains. Hope this helps.

I would make sure there is some space for the roots before flipping, I've had very high numbers of intersex plants when they stayed in too small a pot through flowering.

What growth are you expecting to see?
When nugs start to form from pistils . Theres tons of hairs everywhere but the nugs haven't started to form yet vidoes I've seen on YouTube from other growers , by week 4 they already have developed nugs on there plants maybe I'm being impatient .

Likely you are. Don't ever count on anything in particular occuring unless you have grown the strain before and are somewhat familiar with it's peculiar growth cycle.

Not trying to be vague or condescending, simply offering some thoughts.

I have had abysmal luck in trying to grow and harvest any strain in a manner that resembles what the company states it should roughly be. When I see "8 week strain", I interpret that to mean 9-11 weeks.

Im not implying that they are being dishonest, I do n ot think that they are trying deceive anyone. In my case I've concluded that my grow is simply not as fine tuned as a commercial outfit likely is. That is why I assume it takes me longer.

Keep on growing your plant (s) how you think is best, and I'll be you end up just fine.
